Mike responded and went above and beyond. He was super nice and reasonable. He actually cares and it shows why they have such a great following. That type of professionalism and pride isn’t easy to come by anymore.

Mike is the best!!! Such a super nice guy, quick and efficient work. I accidentally locked myself out with my two toddlers the other day in the freezing cold. Contacted him and he went out of his way to get to us immediately and got us in! Even was kind enough to make me some spare keys. Super knowledgeable about his work. Very easy going guy to talk with. I will not be going anywhere else with my business since finding him, and neither should you! If you need a locksmith for any reason, Mike is the guy, the legend! Prices that are beyond reasonable and affordable; that’s a huge plus in today’s economy!
Thanks Mike!

We highly recommend A1 Lock & Safe. We needed a locksmith to help us open our FireKing filing cabinet.
Mike returned our phone call quickly and was able to come to our home the following day. The safe was repaired. Very efficient and friendly.

We can't say enough good things about Mike at A1 Lock & safe. He came out within a day and installed a keypad lock on the front door and changed 2 back door locks for my elderly FIL. His pricing was very reasonable and he's a great guy to deal with. His service was A+. Don't hesitate to call Mike, he's very trustworthy.

I would recommend this locksmith to anyone in Scranton! Big Mike came out about 30 minutes after I called him to re-key my front door this morning. Also, my house is about 100 years old and he put in all the love and care into my front door to preserve its history. On the phone we also discussed putting in a key code lock on the back door. I originally thought a darker oiled bronze hardware would look good, but he brought many different options to test out (which I am so glad he did!) because I chose a gold one. Also, he was able to make both locks work with the same key so we don’t have 100 keys on the keyring! It puts my mind at ease knowing I have solid locks on the house now to keep my home and family safe.
As for Big Mike, he is a kind, warm, and genuine person. Along with his expert advice about locks for our old historic home, he gave me loads of recommendations for restaurants, wineries, handymen, gardeners, etc. since I am new to the area. Thank you so much! I will be calling you soon to find some skeleton keys for my interior doors :D
The pictures are the original locks and then the new ones.
