I needed a key for the office file cabinet, no other place had the right key blank. The young man there was able to make one. He wasn't sure if it would work, but didn't charge for it. I'm happy to say that it did work. I highly recommend them for all of your lock needs.
My cat jumped on my slider door and tripped the lock shut while I stepped outside for my puppy to go potty. On a Sunday! Locksmith said he hadn't heard that one before. Within less than a half hour of calling, these guys got me back inside! Kind and courteous, too. Highly recommend.
American Lock & Key came highly recommended from the staff at our local hardware store (River Ridge). I've had two of their locksmiths over for various needs on three different occasions. Most recently, Trevor helped repair a mechanism that would lock, but no longer unlock. He replaced only the necessary parts (saving me around $200). As a mechanically-curious customer, he also explained his work as he went and answered all the questions I had. These guys are quick, knowledgable, and strong communicators. The ONLY locksmith contact you need!
I NEVER leave reviews but I genuinely just have the most amazing service I have experienced. I lost my car keys, after searching my house I knew they had to be in my car. In all honesty, I was so nervous that they wouldn’t be in there, and scared that since it was a weekend I was going to a large estimate. I went through the 5 star reviews and thought that it was too good to be true. It’s not, this place deserves 6 stars! Alex was so helpful, I called late on a weekend and he was able to give me an estimate that was very reasonable. He came in the rain, unlocked my car, my keys were nowhere so I also had to get a brand new key made and was such a godsend! I will recommend this place 100 times over and will definitely be calling if I ever (hopefully not) have problems in the future! Thank you!!
