First time using Key Me and I like it. The key worked fine and is of good quality! I would recommend KeyMe to anyone who wants to bypass going to a locksmith or hardware store to have a key made. Great service and very convenient.
Very disappointed with this service.The locksmith arrived 2 hours late to my appointment with no notice. After they finally arrived, I requested a key replacement and paid in cash. About 30 minutes later, I found my original key and immediately called to cancel, but was told no refunds are allowed — something that was never explained upfront. Since I paid cash, I have no way to dispute the charge, and it feels like I got scammed. Poor communication, lack of transparency, and no customer care. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
STAY AWAY FROM THE MOBLE SERVICES!!!!! The guy pulled up with a drill and a drill bit! NEVER even tried to open the lock! DRILLED HALF OF IT! I personally FINISHED GETTING THE LOCK OFF AND IT COST ME 80.00!!RIP OFF...STAY AWAY! SCAM!! SCAM ALERT!Update: Their customer service is just as BAD as the service they claim to offer. PLEASE STAY AWAY!They JUSTIFIED the horrible service and the cost! DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY!
I am a real estate agent and I often times need to have an extra key made for my listings. I was not near the usual home improvement/hardware store to have a key made. But I found a KeyMe kiosk at my grocery store. My initial thought was, “this is great it’s near my home and it’s super convenient”. The kiosk made my key quickly and it did work; however, the cost was rather high. The price for one generic brass key is $9.99 - FOR ONE KEY! I gave KeyMe four stars in this review because it was so convenient and it did make the key correctly. But I did knock off one star for the price. Ultimately, I will use KeyMe again if I don’t have access to my usual places to make my keys.
Used their kiosk at a local Frys. Was easy to use myself. Took some time to have 5 keys cut of same key. But that would be expected.Did have an issue that the first 3 or 5 keys didn’t work in lock. So I referred to their contact on the receipt emailed to me to try and get resolved. The link for submitting an issue was very easy and straightforward. I was even able to attach images to help show issue.Within a day my request was handled and I was issued a refund for keys not working. No going back and forth at all. Things will happen and they just make sure to handle quickly and efficiently which provided a very positive customer experience. I would recommend trying their kiosks again.
