My Kia Rio key fob stopped working. So, I replaced the battery. The red light flashed, but it did not unlock my car doors. I followed reprogramming instructions, but it did not work. The dealership wanted $114 to reprogram my key fob with the new battery. A mobile car key service wanted $239 for a new key fob. Another mobile car key service wanted from $150-$190. I called KC Locksmithing. And, the Rep told me to bring my key fob into their shop for testing. A lady named Danielle tested my car key fob, and then reprogrammed it... and it worked! The man inside said it was "$35.00... Merry Christmas"! I am so very grateful for the highly professional, expedient, economical, and courteous service that KC Locksmithing provided in fixing my car key fob today. Recently in Vacaville my friend’s car (prius) got automatically locked for some bizarre reason when we went to a local store. Obviously key was inside car. He called a national company and they were going to charge arm and a leg to come out (obviously they sub out), and the salesman was like trying to reduce price making my friend bite into using their service.I told him that I’m going to try a local locksmith and called KC.Not only did they offered a very reasonable price they sent their locksmith immediately. While the locksmith was on his way, the car miraculously opened door by itself.So i immediately called the KC office and the receptionist lady was so nice that she said it’s alright she will go ahead and cancel the request and didn’t charge us anything.I really appreciated this about KC. Two reasons I really appreciate them.They’re local, very fair pricing compared to this national chain.They were more than courteous about this whole situation.I certainly will use them in future, should a need arise. I also recommend them. ????
