I called around 9:30pm when we were locked out of our house because our Yale lock would not accept our code. A gentleman answered immediately. After I explained the situation, he mentioned they did not have any techs available at the moment. He then went on to explain some troubleshooting methods for our specific lock and then referred us to another trusty local locksmith for on-site support. I was very impressed and grateful for the advice over the phone, despite me not being a paying customer. It was clear they care about honest work, llquality customer service.
Terrible. Strung us along for over a month. Didn’t show up. Said he was sick for some of it - of course that’s fine. But over and over, promises and then nothing. Finally said would send me photos of locks because he couldn’t bother coming over. Didn’t even get them. I’ve owned a science and engineering company for almost 40 years. In my opinion, Ben’s Lock had the poorest and most unprofessional behaviour I have experienced.
The second time I used Ben's Lock was for an emergency situation. Not only did Ben pick up the phone when I called, but he was at my home within 20 minutes. I can't thank him enough for his prompt response and I will never use another locksmith. Quality of work and service is amazing.
