What customers say
Customers' experiences are mixed: several describe key copying as quick, and some say their keys worked or were accurate. Other customers report keys that did not work or a kiosk that failed; one customer said the process left them with two extra keys and twice the intended spend. Reports also mention sharp metal shards on the keys and people described as rude and disrespectful.

Key Kiosk worked like a charm. I only needed one key; however, the manner in which the questions were asked and the way I was led through the process I ended up with 3 keys at twice what I intended to pay. The keys are great I just ended up with 2 more than I needed.

Accurate, fast key duplication. There are 2 locksmiths in my town, I despise going to either. They have an attitude and when I have a key copied and it doesn't work and I return to file it down or make some correction, they really turn up the attitude.
I was hesitant at first but so glad I went to this machine inside Lowe's. It does a laser image of the original and cuts the key after. This was the most accurate key I ever had for this particular lock. It's a business front door, gets opened closed daily, also for lunch. Over the last 20 years we had various success with duplicate keys, this was the best quality (accurate).

Manufactured the keys in Lowes in Wichita Falls. Very impressed.....smooth, and cheap too!

This Kiosk is newer and didn't work. I used an old a couple of years ago, and this was disappointing and lead to a return to Lowe's. I had one made by an employee and it works and took 1/4 the time.

I’m not happy all 4 keys are wrong they don’t work on my door !! Was fast but I don’t know why was wrong
Sean Burns
There were sharp corners and metal shards hanging off the keys...I rubbed them together to get rid of them. The service was also lacking...in that the prior vendor also offered keychains, this one does not. Keys seem to work OK, but make sure you removed the metal shards before sticking in your lock...
