Some mention pricing as reasonable, especially with promotions like buy two, get one free, while others find it a bit higher than hardware stores. A few reviews mention initial learning curve with the touch-screen steps. There are occasional complaints about limitations for certain car keys at the kiosk.
The kiosks in fact do not copy car keys like the update from 5 days ago says it does. This wasted my time.
6$ per key, but 2 get one free! $13.47 for 3 copper keys, can't beat it!
Actually, the reason why I didn't give 5 stars was simply that I had some difficulty learning how to operate your machine. ??Aside from that, it did fine!I'd decided to get an extra key made my key made apartment, because 2-4 times in the past 6 months or so, I have gone off and let the door close behind me... only to realize when I got to my car that I had accidentally left my keys (including my car-key!) locked up in my apartment! So I had to get the maintenance guy to let me back in, to retrieve my keys!So-o-o..I finally got my extra key made with your machine! And when I got home, it worked fine!Thank you!!-- Yesterday, I decided I needed another few copies of my front door key, since (shamed blush) I lost my other copy.So I went back to Walmart yesterday and used your KeyMe machine again, this time for "3 for the price of 2" key-copies. (One for my key-ring, one for a duplicate I could hide in case I locked myself out again ??, and one for my very trustworthy cousin who comes over once a week.)When I got them home, 2 of them worked fine. But the 3rd one didn't. So I brought it back to Walmart and asked for help with it.But apparently the only way I could really get help was to call the 800-number, and to speak with a representative.HOWEVER, nobody answered, other than the computer-bot.I left my phone number, accompanied by a helpful Walmart associate's message. So I guess I have to wait until this next week to speak with someone, and get a refund for a new key that DOES work.
Quick, easy and the key fits/works well. A little pricey, but I like the paw print design.
Keys worked. A little more expensive but it was great to finally have more keys
