5 star services, got us moved and set up. Turn key services and got everything here safe. Would use again definitely!
I contacted Roman at Rest & Relocation based on a trusted referral. The initial estimate was positive, but communication quickly became inconsistent. Despite multiple attempts to coordinate, scheduled times were missed and responses often came late or not at all.Even after confirming dates for packing and moving, updates were minimal, and I only heard back the day before the scheduled service in response to my advisement of not needing his services. Moves are stressful enough without having to question whether commitments will be honored.First impressions matter, and reliable communication is essential when entrusting a company with your belongings.
If I could give 0 stars I would. The first red flag was when Roman didn't show up to provide us with a quote when he scheduled and I had to call him twice to check up on him. When he showed up he gave a very reasonable quote. We did not have a move-in date yet so we had to call back later to schedule. When I called to set up the move he told me he was busy and couldn't take our deposit yet. It took him at least a week to send a link to pay for the deposit. I never received any written confirmation of the quote or date of our move. I messaged a few times asking questions and he always replied he was too busy but would get back to me. A few days before the move I requested a confirmation of the date and time of the move and was told, "that sounds right, but I'm on the road right now. I can't check until later." The day before our move he texted me, "see you tomorrow at 7 am!" When I thanked him for the confirmation, he replied he had sent the text to the wrong customer and I was actually scheduled for 2 days later. He reassured me that he would work out the details to get me moved tomorrow. Around 4 pm I asked if he had gotten it worked out and he replied that he had gotten everything worked out to move us the following day. At 9:15 pm he called to tell me he was not able to move us the following day but he does know of a different company that could do it for me. He told me the new company would honor the quote he gave me. I called the new company and they told me he had said he gave me a quote $2000 higher. Thankfully the other company was able to compromise with me and come down. After booking with the new company, I messaged Roman telling him I needed my deposit back. He told me that would not be a problem. Weeks passed and I still hadn't received it. I messaged again and he said to give him my new mailing address. After that message, he quit responding to me. Now he is claiming he will not give me a refund because my move was scheduled and completed. He is very unprofessional, unorganized, and just a bad businessman.
We had a big relocation in Tuscola to bring to Lubbock and we utilized Roman and his helper to assist us with a very expensive Baby Grand Piano. I called him the day of and he was there within an hour. He moved this very delicate piece with ease and I cannot thank him enough for his assistance to my crew. Super professional and I'd highly recommend his services!-Mark with Lubbock Moving Company
I had a very positive experience with this locally owned company. The owner is an awesome person & the employees work ethic are impressive. Moving is so stressful but they handled everything with professionalism and care. I noticed their attention to details to ensure all my property arrived undamaged & all pieces of furniture were together. I moved about a 3 bedroom home of property from one home in Abilene to another and I was impressed with how they streamlined everything into only a few hours. I was fully moved into my new home and able to unpack to completion in 1 day. Thank you!
