We hired Rockbrune Bros. for our move and we were very happy with every aspect of the move. It just happened we move on one of the hottest days so for this summerThe crew was great and Judy did a great job helping us get organized and priced our move with no unexpected surprises.I would highly recommend Rockbrune Bros. and their crew out of Ajax.
Amazing work. The team that came out worked from 8 until after 2 and never seemed to stop moving. We had a huge amount of furniture and belongings to pack and they pulled it off faster than I would have imagined.I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great moving experience.
We used Rockbrune Bros 11 years ago & the movers were fantastic: respectful, careful with items, nothing broken or damaged, efficient, cleaned up after themselves so when we were moving again, I didn't hesitate to use them again; what a HUGE mistake!!I've had to watch my elderly Mother cry every single day from when we moved into our home for at least a month because either an item was busted when she opened a box or she couldn't find something or she couldn't find a part of something because the movers hid it (even though it was packed together, they took things apart). She got to a point where she sat at the kitchen table, cried & told me how depressed she was because everything that meant anything to her was either broken or lost.We had 10 days to submit a claim; how do I unpack items from two houses in 10 days & ensure I have accurately claimed everything when their movers took things apart, hid items everywhere, broke items & it took them 2 days to deliver? Joe eventually came to "help" look for items; he picked up 1 broken collectable from a box, told her it was the way she wrapped it then said he didn't know where to start to help us find things & left. I've included him on every email since & not a peep. What do they care, they got almost $5,000.00 from her.My elderly Mother should be enjoying her new home; she shouldn't be upset, stressed & crying every day over damaged & missing items that can never be replaced...maybe they just didn’t like that she’s a senior with decades of irreplaceable memories that they were hired to move. One kept complaining how heavy items were.Below are some of our issues:- Mover put a vase on my dryer, then knocked the vase off. No apology, just acted like nothing happened- Electronics were put in boxes with no bubble wrap (one stereo was found thrown in a box upside down, another was in a different box on it’s side); other electronics were not even packed in anything at all – power cords are all missing- Movers were told to leave a box that clearly indicated it was medication but took it anyway knowing they would have items overnight then blamed my elderly Mother for not keeping her meds with her. She was without her meds for numerous days until we were able to get a refill at an added out of pocket expense; we didn't find the meds until weeks later- Movers were told to leave the dog & cat foods but they packed them in boxes & took them anyway. I ended up having to make an extra run to get them food & finally found the box 3 weeks later buried under a bunch of other boxes- I spent 6+ hours organizing items, that were literally thrown, in the garage- Most items were scattered throughout the house. I'm still on a scavenger hunt trying to find items (or fixing items they broke) since May 23rd- Twin bed was not put together properly & collapsed- 5 lb. dumbbell was found cracked; the 2nd was found hidden in a box and broken- A doll crib my late-Grandfather built was delivered with one leg broken off- Movers took a door off but never bothered to put the door back on nor tell anyone where the pins were so it could be put back on- Mirrors were taken off of two dressers & they were supposed to put them back on but left them on the floor- Mover made comments about us having old tools & asked why we had them. They were my late-Father’s & were packed in tool boxes so why were they snooping. An electric drill appears to be missing from one of the tool boxes- They left empty water bottles everywhere in both pick-up and delivery homes- Movers used my tools because they forgot theirs; days later I went to use the screwdriver, the bit was snapped at the tip; it wasn’t broken prior to them using it- Movers weren't supposed to take a box with irreplaceable (now worthless) collectables but did & they dropped it. Blamed us for the way it was packed- A table my late-Grandfather built had three metal footings missing- Still missing 2 boxes, including a box of clothes- My elderly Mother's mattress wasn't wrapped in plastic, it was just put on the dirty truck as is
My family has been using Rockbrune Bros Movers for two generations now will probably be three when my kids move out. My father was a home builder and we moved frequently and I have personally used them myself for all my moves.I highly recommend them and I have referred them to many friends looking for a reputable mover. I have never had any issues, its a solid family run company with good people backed by the United Van Lines name.
Wow! What can we say! We cannot thank Rockbrune Movers in Ajax Ontario enough for our extremely smooth and easy move as they helped us relocate offices this past week.
