These movers are fairly good. The price is fair but I did have a few issues. I told them I had a table, couch, a few boxes and a bed to move, come to find out a bed only means the mattress, not the frame. Who would have thought..? So they will just watch you move the items that you didn’t “clarify” on the phone. I also asked how much it is for an extra hour and I could have swore I was told $75, but later it was actually $95. That wasn’t too much of an issue but my problem really lies with the fact that I also purchased S hooks to hook down my furniture and I’m pretty certain they took the S hooks that again, I had purchased. Another issue is that if I hadn’t reached out to confirm the time they were going to arrive to my apartment, I would of never known that they were running behind and planned to show up 2 hours later than the original time booked. Keep in mind, I had to then reschedule my u-haul twice to ensure I didn’t have a late pickup or pay for extra time with the u-haul. Again, I think the gentleman and the lady he arrived with were kind, just communication could be way clearer.Edit: if you didn't take my S-Hooks then who did? Cause I don't have them and when I spoke to U-Haul, they didn't have them either. Also, my mother is 65 and you watched her pack the u-haul with my stuff...one of your movers did exactly that. if more money was the issue then say so. Also, clarify that it's only two movers coming, you can say that was all on the invoice, but I would think that's very important to clarify on the phone. Why sale a story over the phone just to not deliver when in person. You didn't address the fact that you were two hours late from the original booking time as well. That is a valid issue.
These people are fraud. I sent them inventory list and they gave me quote and I agreed to it. Later, when they come they kept saying extra charges for this extra charges for that and were so rude. I specifically asked them if reassembling included and they said yes. But when they come they said they can’t do it. They just moved the mattress and took money and didn’t do anything else.
Solid dudes with solid prices! They were a total pleasure to work with and were flexible with our schedule when everything hit the fan on our moving day. Would definitely hire them again!
They are really great at communicating leading up to the day of the move and before they arrived. The only negative was that they were delayed an hour, but when they arrived, they were very professional and moved quickly.
I had my move on the schedule for weeks, and this company canceled on me at 6pm the night before via email because they overbooked themselves. No phone call, and no response to any of my calls, emails, or texts after that. We had made mountains of corresponding plans along with the move — childcare, taking days off work, moving delicate things to our new house in advance, etc. — all of which were completely blown up by this company, who had the audacity to claim in their email that they were "doing the right thing" by refunding my $50 deposit immediately rather than their usual "five to ten days." Avoid them unless you want to be canceled on the night before.
