The actual move itself was great. Valerie was super helpful and the guys moved me out efficiently and professionally. However here’s where things get awful. I used their storage unit for my couches and a couple items and they didn’t answer the phone for 2 weeks. I’d been trying to sell my couches for weeks and I lost out on 2 sales. I finally got another person for my couches and they finally answered the phone. I showed up during the office hours like I was told I could and no one was there. Apparently the office manager was sick. But why would the entire warehouse be closed! So then it takes another week for someone to get back to me. Nicole and Jeff understood where I was coming from and tried to make it work. We scheduled a time for me to get my couches and clear out my unit. They called me back 30 minutes later and tell me there was only couches in my unit. Well that can’t be because you took a microwave and all my glassware! So they did reimburse me for that. I was able to sell the couches and it worked out. OR SO I THOUGHT. Someone took the feet off the couches. My recliner couches. So you can’t actually recline without them. I called them every day for a week. I left an email with Nicole who said I could email her directly if anything went wrong. I called Jeff and he told me he would reach out to her. No one has reached out to me and it has been 2 weeks. They are either really disorganized or they steal a lot from their units. Who takes the feet off of couches!
I was very impressed with the services of Two Men and a Truck for my move last week! From the thorough estimate and booking process over the phone, overall customer service and follow through, and then finally the professionalism on moving day by three wonderful guys to move our belongings. They were quick, but not rushed and careless. They were careful and considerate and pleasant to be around. The pricing was fair and straightforward. Looking forward to hopefully working with the same crew when we buy our new home and move in!
DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS!!! Just to start with, they broke, or rather, smashed my full length mirror and broke my 4k monitor. The movers also had to call a manager in to help them finish the move because one of the movers was so out of shape he could barely get up the stairs. I paid the overpriced amount and entered a tip. The next day I received a call saying I hadn't paid. I explained to them I had paid to which the woman who was the rep told me they would look into it and get back to me. No one ever called, but instead they just went ahead and charged me the full amount, again! When I called, they explained that they hadn't seen my payment because they weren't aware of it because I had included a tip and that didn't match the charge. WHAT!!?? When I inquired about reimbursement for my broken items, they said they would get back to me, but I still have yet to hear from them. Do yourself a favor and do not use this company for your move.
Highly recommend Two Men and a Truck! Jahmeek, Rahym, and James did a phenomenal job with our move into a Clifton Park storage unit. My friend and I split the move between my apartment furniture and his 30+ gaming chairs that he received for his review business. All 3 guys were friendly, took great care in wrapping everything/moving it, and making sure it was done how we wanted. Their efficiency cut the estimated job time in half! Looking forward to using them later this year when moving into new apartment.
As a community manager at a property in Clifton Park, I couldn’t be more impressed with this moving company. They moved three of our residents in just four hours—fast, efficient, polite, and incredibly professional. Their team made the entire process smooth and stress-free. We’re thrilled to have them returning this Friday to assist with two more moves. Highly recommend to anyone in need of reliable movers!
