I had an outstanding experience with Discount Movers, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Angelo and Albert were phenomenal from start to finish.
First, the pricing was incredibly fair and transparent. There were no surprise charges, no ridiculous “garbage fees,” and nothing shady added at the end. The final cost matched exactly what was expected, which is rare and hugely appreciated.
Second, the team was fast, focused, and constantly moving. No standing around, no wasted time—everyone stayed busy and worked with purpose. They managed to move my entire one-bedroom apartment from Newport Beach to Thousand Oaks and had everything completely done by 1:30 PM. That’s impressive.
Third, Angelo and his crew were genuinely helpful, professional, and easy to work with. They handled everything with care, efficiency, and a great attitude, which made what could have been a stressful moving day surprisingly smooth and even enjoyable.
If you’re looking for movers who are fair, honest, efficient, and professional, Discount Movers and Angelo’s team are the real deal. I’m extremely grateful to them and would absolutely use them.

DMI helped us move our 3000 sq ft house from Southern California to Boulder.
Phil was great from the outset - very good with communication and explanation - this continued all the way through to unloading of our stuff. Even coming back to use when he found something in the bottom of an 'empty' box that was going to be trashed.
we had a lot of items that we weren't sure we were taking and Phil was working with us up to loading on additions and changes to the load.
Big praise for Jorge who reversed his semi up 200 yds of tight road with cars either side !
Packing and loading crew were fast and efficient and courteous. as were a different team who showed up in Boulder to unload. Very respectful and careful, listened to where we wanted stuff and no thing was an issue to them.
highly recommend anyone in the Socal area using DMI - Phil and team will really do a great job
