I am deeply concerned and disappointed with this moving company and feel compelled to share my experience in hopes of warning others.I might have been scammed.I scheduled my move with them under the agreement that my belongings would arrive within 7 to 10 days. I clearly communicated that I would be able to receive my items by August 25th. It is now September 10th, and I still have not received my items.I’ve called them numerous times, and dispatch either does not answer at all or provides no real update on the status of my delivery. The last time I managed to speak with someone, they suddenly changed the delivery timeframe to 10 to 17 days, which was never disclosed to me at the time of pickup. In fact, I was reassured by a representative that it would take “just a few days” to reach my new location.To make matters worse, I am a single mother who left my previous location due to a domestic issue. My children’s clothes, school supplies, and other essentials are all in that shipment. I have no extra money to repurchase these items. The emotional and financial stress this has caused my family is unimaginable. not to mention, I got a quote for $5000 from another company , The representative told me that he will be able to provide me an estimate that will be lower than $5000. After everything got loaded ,I got a new rate for over $5000. Because I was so stressed and desperate, I borrowed the money to pay for my stuff to be shipped and yet it has not arrived.This level of neglect and poor communication is unacceptable, and I’m beginning to fear that I may have been scammed. If there is a legitimate reason for the delay, they have failed miserably to communicate it. At this point, I don’t even know where my belongings are or if they’ll ever arrive.Please take caution if you’re considering using this company. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone—especially not another single parent trying to start over
Excellent experience. I would definitely recommend this company to a friend or family member. Angel, Adam, and Pat all put forth a very good effort. They all wore face coverings to my satisfaction. Each wore a company hoodie with their names on the front. Truck looked good. The final bill came in under what I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. My only suggestion would be to clean the padded moving blankets, they were filthy.
Used this company for the first time today. Had a rather huge wine cabinet (refrigerator size) brought in the house and up 3 flights of stairs. Other than a misquoted time frame, they did an excellent job. Movers were professional, knew how to best manipulate getting the pice upstairs and in place, office personnel were great to work with. I would certainly recommend and use their services in the future.
Atlantic Coast Moving & Storage did a great job helping me plan and complete my mom's move. The office staff, especially Chelsea, were fantastic to work with. The moving team was excellent. They were reliable, efficient, and nice to be around. I would definitely use them again.
This company was great! The sales and office team were very nice and made the stress of moving a bit easier. The crew consisted of 3 guys who arrived on time and had the move finished within the estimated time. The guys took nice care of our belongings and everything arrived undamaged. My wife and I were extremely pleased!
