Colton C and his crew were INCREDIBLE!!!! I have nothing but incredible things to say about my move. My move was from Austin, TX to Houston. Everything was packaged and handled perfectly with nothing breaking in between. They were so nice and friendly! Thank you Colton and crew. I will definitely be calling again for my next move.
We hired All My Sons to load a 40ft shipping container for us, which was 5ft off of the ground. From the time we first contacted them, to when the container pulled away from our home, they did a fantastic job. Amy handled most of the logistics leading up to the move date, and she was always vey responsive to any questions or requests we had. The actual movers who did the job - Bill and his 4 team members - were excellent in prepping our items for moving and efficiently loading them into the container. The cost was by the hour, and in spite of a late arrival of our container, the cost of the job was under what we were given as an estimate, which was a very pleasant surprise. I would strongly recommend All My Sons movers, and Bill and his team in particular, to anyone who has a need for high-quality movers at a reasonable price.I received an estimate very quickly based on an inventory I sent them, and they were able to accommodate an exact move date we picked, which included a last minute change to the move date 1 week prior to the date. The day before the move date, they called to confirm all the details, including a 1hr window when they would arrive. The day of the loading, Bill, the team lead called me to again confirm the details and let me know they would be there in about 1hr ) which was within the 1hr window they had confirmed previously). They arrived just when Bill told me they would, and after getting an overview of what was to be loaded, they went to work efficiently but carefully prepping our furniture with blankets, padded paper, and shrink wrap. The team handled moving and packing all the items with ease, in spite of needing to load a very large crated art box and navigate getting a sofa and coffee table down a spiral staircase. Finally, while I really appreciate the work Bill and his team did, the communication with me during the move was fantastic. They would check with me when they had questions about what to move and always did so in a very friendly, curious, and professional manner. Do yourself a favor a contact All My Sons for any moving needs you have. Based on my experience with them, you’ll be glad you did!
PLEASE READ BEFORE USING THEM! If I can give all my sons moving & storage no stars I would. I moved into my new place in September so I called all my sons to have them move my furniture. When the movers came in they smelled like weed and they were very slow. Mind you you’re paying them $100 per hour so every min counts. They brought 3 movers their should be no way all 3 is downstairs at least 2 of them should be upstairs. They took a hour and half lunch break as well. Once they arrived to my new place they basically threw my nice upscale furniture all over the place as if it was a piece of trash. I have provided pictures of my damaged furniture down below. I didn’t get my furniture from goodwill or Facebook marketplace I paid my hard working money for my furniture. Before they started the move I paid the additional coverage which was $5,000. One of the movers told me that all my sons may not pay for the damage for my furniture (after he was the one to damage it ) and had the nerve to say you have nice furniture. He told me to reach out to the claims team which I did. I provided pictures and quotes for everything. All of the damages came up to $10,000. And they only gave me $700!!???? That won’t even cover 2 bar stools. The claims guy ace ward was very rude to me and basically said it is what it is that’s the best that we can do.i told him that i spent $1200 for them to move my stuff and your only quoting me $700 ? Then he changed it to $1,700. Which is still not enough at all. I reached out to all my sons again to speak to the manager Randy he cut me off and didn’t care about what I said got loud with me and even hung up in my face. And the fact that I am a paying customer I should receive that respect for spending my hard earn money to pay these people and they don’t give a damn. I would rather move my own furniture myself then to ever use these people ever again!!!
The movers were nice and polite but that’s where the white glove service ended. They asked for a tip before even starting the move, then set the expectation of getting $80-100 per person. Asked for a tip again before I could even go through my things. A tip is earned, not given.Items were left taped and wrapped. My antique chest and mosaic mirror were damaged. A one of a kind, vintage grandfather clock weight was damaged, after we were reassured moving the clock was within their expertise. My husband asked that nothing be dragged on our newly finished garage floors, our gun safe was dragged and left a large scratch across our floors.I haven’t finished unpacking but this is the damage so far. We paid a lot of money to move 15 minutes away and still had this damage. The last hour of our move, half the team sat on our porch on their phones while the rest of the team “finished” putting our furniture together. I had assumed things were completed to the level I was assured they would be, apparently not.
They charged me $1000 to move a pre-packed one bedroom apartment into a relo-cube 20 minutes away. Everything was packed horribly using boxes and other materials I provided, but was somehow still charged $100+ for "packing materials (enough saran wrap to wrap my couch twice and 2 used moving blankets). My furniture was damaged in the cube due to poor packing. When I called to discuss these issues I was met with some small man who was pretty dismissive, telling me that I wasn't charged for one of the [used] moving blankets so I was "lucky". P.S. they said "we don't normally even wrap furniture." If you use these guys make sure you watch all their work closely.
