Over the past few years, GetMovers has helped us with several moves, including our most recent home move in Barrie, and the experience has always been reliable.They’ve assisted us with different situations moving furniture and boxes across town to an apartment, packing and relocating from a 1200 sq ft apartment into a house, moving items into a storage unit, and later bringing everything back into our home. Each time the process has been smooth.Communication has always been easy when arranging the moves. Tom, the sales manager, has been helpful with scheduling and even adjusting dates when needed.The movers who have helped us over time John, Aaron, Jake, and Chris have consistently been professional and easy to work with. They take care to protect furniture properly, pack items securely, and make sure everything arrives in the same condition it left.Across multiple home and apartment moves, the team has proven to be dependable, careful with our belongings, and good at solving small challenges that come up during a move.Because of these experiences, GetMovers has become our go-to moving company in Barrie, and we’ll continue to use them whenever we need help moving.

What a great service. My wife and I had to move from a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment on the third floor (no elevator) into a 2 bedroom, 1 bath on the second floor in Barrie. What looked simple at first honestly felt like moving a full 3 bedroom house once we started boxing everything up. Divine was clear and responsive the whole time, explaining the process and answering every question without making it complicated. Marco, Elias, and Victor arrived right on schedule, took a quick walkthrough, and got straight to work. Absolute workhorses. I was originally quoted for 3 hours, but with the volume we had, it turned into a 7-hour job. Not once did they complain. They just kept going. I tracked 87 flights of stairs on my watch that day and they easily doubled that carrying furniture up and down. Still polite, still focused. Everything was wrapped properly, moved carefully, and nothing was damaged. For the amount of labor involved, the pricing felt more than fair.If we ever move again, they’re the call. Two thumbs up.

I had a really great experience moving with GetMovers. Booking was easy, and the staff was helpful and accommodating when I called in with questions. The movers themselves were friendly, had great attitudes, and worked hard to finish as quickly as they could without cutting corners. I own some really nice things, and that was something I was nervous about, but they did an excellent job taking care of everything and getting it all into the new place without any scratches or damage. The only not-so-perfect part was that a few items from my wardrobe picked up some dirt during the move. As soon as I noticed, I called to let them know. They didn’t argue or brush it off , they covered the cost to have everything cleaned, and it all came out fine. They also explained that asking for wardrobe boxes next time would help prevent that. They could’ve easily left me to deal with it on my own, but they didn’t, and that really meant a lot to me. I’ve hired other well-known moving companies before, and honestly, GetMovers has been the best experience by far. That kind of follow through and care says alot about a company. I’m very grateful and would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a move.
