What a great service. My wife and I had to move from a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment on the third floor (no elevator) into a 2 bedroom, 1 bath on the second floor in Barrie. What looked simple at first honestly felt like moving a full 3 bedroom house once we started boxing everything up. Divine was clear and responsive the whole time, explaining the process and answering every question without making it complicated. Marco, Elias, and Victor arrived right on schedule, took a quick walkthrough, and got straight to work. Absolute workhorses. I was originally quoted for 3 hours, but with the volume we had, it turned into a 7-hour job. Not once did they complain. They just kept going. I tracked 87 flights of stairs on my watch that day and they easily doubled that carrying furniture up and down. Still polite, still focused. Everything was wrapped properly, moved carefully, and nothing was damaged. For the amount of labor involved, the pricing felt more than fair.If we ever move again, they’re the call. Two thumbs up.
I had a really great experience moving with GetMovers. Booking was easy, and the staff was helpful and accommodating when I called in with questions. The movers themselves were friendly, had great attitudes, and worked hard to finish as quickly as they could without cutting corners. I own some really nice things, and that was something I was nervous about, but they did an excellent job taking care of everything and getting it all into the new place without any scratches or damage. The only not-so-perfect part was that a few items from my wardrobe picked up some dirt during the move. As soon as I noticed, I called to let them know. They didn’t argue or brush it off , they covered the cost to have everything cleaned, and it all came out fine. They also explained that asking for wardrobe boxes next time would help prevent that. They could’ve easily left me to deal with it on my own, but they didn’t, and that really meant a lot to me. I’ve hired other well-known moving companies before, and honestly, GetMovers has been the best experience by far. That kind of follow through and care says alot about a company. I’m very grateful and would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a move.
