Movers were great, didn’t damage anything and took care of our belongings. Everything on the administrative end was also good, being helpful and adjusted quotes that were competitive to other companies.
The whole process was easy, from initial contact to the departure of the (once empty) truck. The price was reasonable. I have a Sleep Number bed and a very large elliptical trainer that needed to be moved. Some companies told me I would need a third party to disassemble and reassemble them. Your folks handled both.The packing crew went like gangbusters. Since I wasn't taking everything, I had to stop them on a few occasions from packing things that weren't getting moved. One packer developed a nice relationship with my cat.The local affiliate, David Moving out of Baton Rouge, was a pleasure to work with, from the office, the packers the movers and the driver.I have already recommended David Moving to a friend.
Overall, it was a pretty good move. The packers were very good, with the exception of most of the boxes being mislabeled. The third-party craters were excellent. They sub contracted the actual move to Allied Van Lines and the driver was excellent. We were his only load from Louisiana to Texas. The unpackers were not good at all; they unloaded the boxes and just placed things at random everywhere in the house. It’s been a real problem, trying to find things along with the mislabeled boxes.
These folks have done an exceptional job. They've moved us out of one home, some things in storage, some things to temporary housing, and then to a new home. The crew is experienced, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Nothing broken, nothing damaged, everything accounted for, and everyone happy. The fellow who heads this crew knows exactly what to do and manages it flawlessly. Packers did a great job. Movers did, too. I am happy to recommend them.
Very professional. Courtney was easy to contact and answered all of my questions. Cedric (driver) worked with us to deliver at a convenient time for my family. The ladies that packed and gentlemen that loaded and unloaded the truck were quick and careful with our belongings. They all made the whole process easy.
