I moved from Atlanta to Houston. It was a difficult move with two destinations, with lots of heavy boxes, trunks, bins, etc.Rod and Dean are wonderful strong, and efficient professionals. No damages.In the office, Ian and Cynthia were super helpful and extremely professional, as well.Their affiliate in Atlanta is Beltman Moving and Storage.
I have nothing but good things to say about the movers. There were a few things put on the truck that weren't suppose to go but everything arrived intact. Staff was great. The wait for my belongings to arrive was the biggest issue.
Everything was perfect, right from my call to North American finding someone to do inventory estimate in my area, each step of move was clearing explained and followed through. No surprises, pick-up date and delivery dates, perfect. Jesse, the driver and his team were fantastic, all items were marked, wrapped (if needed)and checked off on "bingo" sheet on arrival. The most important influence in my experience is in dealing with my driver Canard. He's smart, knows his business, works incredibly hard, absolutely fantastic attitude, all of which made him a pleasure to work with. The two employees who work for Cord in the main office who helped him load the truck, we're professional, friendly, hard working, young gentleman. They all three, seemed to enjoy what they do and made the move that day more enjoyable.I'd recommend Cord to anyone looking to move.
Movers arrived on time and pleasant to work with. Edgar Portillo the driver was very thorough in taking our items. The crew Mike, Jason and Angeline worked very hard and getting our items loaded.The next day they were great at unloading our items and placing furniture where we wanted it.Little did we know, they were planning to steal approximately 20 boxes of our items to include sterling silver, silver plate, collectible glassware, a highland vacuum cleaner and a green doll chair.We contacted John Polinsky out of the Oklahoma City office who kept saying the crew must have dropped it off at another location even though we saw the items on the truck. We contacted the police and filed a report and are currently looking into hiring an attorney as approximately $10,000 of her items were stolen.Beware of the crew Edgar Portillo, Mike, Jason and Angelin out of Tulsa Oklahoma.
