We had consistent communication with the owner, Nikki, right up until we paid in full for the across state move.Unfortunately, issues occurred during and after the move:•One of our two TV’s—which was fully functional prior to the move—was broken afterward(our dog walked across the back of one of our other TV’s during the move, funny enough that tv was fully functional) I’m including this because last contact I had they tried to say that tv was the one broken. Yet the tv that was broken went into their personal vehicle so it wouldn’t be damaged.• Main dresser: Our primary dresser was damaged during the move and cannot be used due to a broken leg• Ladder: Our 6ft ladder was left on the truck. We didn’t initially raise this issue because we already had concerns about the follow through regarding the TV and dresser—and unfortunately, those concerns proved valid.We had to pay out of pocket to replace the TV, dresser, and the ladder. As you can imagine, those costs added up quickly and were extremely frustrating.We contacted the owner directly via text (our primary method of communication), left voicemails, and made multiple calls to the number listed on the company’s website—the same number we originally used to book the move and correspond back and forth(with screenshot receipts of proof)Nikki initially responded and said she would work on the issue with their insurance and follow up and since have never heard back. Our move took place on 12/12/25–12/13/25. We were patient during the holidays, but it is now 1/14/25, and we have received no response—no returned calls or texts.The lack of follow-through, basic respect, and professionalism has been incredibly disappointing. It genuinely feels as though once payment was made in full, we were ghosted. We weren’t asking for anything unreasonable, only reimbursement for items that were broken during the move.Because of this experience, we would not use this company again, nor would we recommend them to anyone
I do not recommend this company. The owner, Nikky, provided me with a quote, but on the day of the move the mover arrived, loaded my items, and then presented me with an invoice with no price listed, asking me to sign it. When I questioned why there was no total, I was told they were charging $85 more than the quoted amount.I never signed or authorized this increased charge, nor was I ever sent an invoice beforehand. I attempted to contact the owner to resolve this issue and have yet to receive a call back.They lure customers in with reasonable, fair quotes and then increase the price without consent. This feels deceptive and unprofessional. Beware—go anywhere else.
Austin, Don, and Carson were outstanding . Hard working and fast. Very careful with our possessions and quickly helped if we needed something moved a bit. This was just the first half of our move and we will certainly use On-the-Move Movers for the second half. We highly recommend them.
Great crew, even better services.$730 to move a 9 Foot concert grand with a single weeks notice, very reasonable price compared to other quotes. One of the movers got sick so there was a bit of a delay to get more hands on site, waiting was quite worth it for they were a well oiled machine with the appropriate sized team. No issues with the instrument, she was babied and secured properly.Anthony was the lead, I also had Adam and Wes on location. They should get a Piano “Tilter” to ensure longevity in their workers.I’d run it back with this company in a heartbeat.
Anthony, Austin and Beau did an outstanding job moving an unconventional item for me today. The task was to get a concrete bathtub weighing over 900 pounds into a new custom home through the front door and into the master bathroom, uncrating it and setting it in place without damaging anything. They were very methodical, placed it successfully and cleaned up when done. Great experience!Ken H. Sun Forest Construction.
