Did a very good job with my move. Very professional from the office to the move crew that came out. Very informational from the office and great with answering all my questions. Would definitely use again
Wet boxes, broken 77 inch TV, lost wall mount and power box for frame TV, missing peloton screen, etc… We paid a 3rd party company to come out and take the TV’s down and had this company package them. We used them to move stuff to storage as well and have no idea what’s in there or what condition it’s in. They state it’s all crated and stacked in a warehouse. Offering a whopping $.30 per lb which doesn’t go far for a $3k TV. Be VERY WEARY of this company as they are not transparent and now the sales guy Scott doesn’t respond to requests for help and repeated attempts to connect.
We could not have been more pleased with the loading crew that Ace World Wide out of Bloomington sent - Eric Johnson was our driver/Foreman [a true servant leader] and Roland, Tre and Bill were loading. They were all amazing - such professional gentleman, so polite, so concerned about our belongings and just a delight to work with. We didn't have one thing damaged and I know it's because of their care in loading those items correctly. I should also say that Scott [our sales rep] was really fun to work with on the estimate and very responsive on packing questions [Ace also happened to be the cheapest option.] Overall, our move could not have gone better in terms of timeliness, no damage and the best loading crew & foreman you could ask for. I highly recommend Ace Worldwide & this crew & foreman. Thank you gentlemen & God bless you all. Ph 1:3
We had a very negative experience with Ace World Wide. Most significantly, our stuff arrived 16 days after the end of the quoted delivery window. It was nearly impossible to get any helpful information in the meantime, and nobody seemed to be working to recruit a driver and get our things moving; everyone was just waiting for something to happen, which was extremely frustrating. There is more, but delivery this late is enough to warrant a 1 star rating. We could have done the job ourselves for half the money, half the stress, and in a more timely manner.
The moving crew was friendly and efficient on both ends. Unfortunately, they broke a television (which happens). The problem is that the company paid a whopping $15 dollars for the broken TV (a year old 55 inch Samsung smart TV). They also "lost" a marble top for an antique dresser. I suspect it was broken and just left on the truck. When I called to ask where this might be, I was told they would look into it an get back to me. They never did. I paid a good price for a local move and would say the service provided by the crew was good, but the company does not care about anything but getting your money. Customer service and follow-up after the move was non-existent.
