What really stood out to me wasn’t just the move itself, but how they handled an issue along the way. While moving me out of my Roslindale apartment, one of my boxes ripped. Instead of brushing it off, they immediately grabbed a new box, carefully repacked everything, and even wrote a note on it that said, “opened by movers, repacked safely.” That level of honesty is rare to find with Boston movers, and it’s exactly why I’m leaving this review.

Maine could have been stressful moving from Allston to Portland, but 617 Boston Movers made the whole process smooth and easy. The team was careful with all our belongings, our bike, plants, and kitchen items were handled thoughtfully. They picked everything up near Harvard Ave, traveled to Maine without any problems, and arrived at our new West End home right on time. They even helped place the couch exactly where we wanted it. Throughout the move, the crew remained calm, professional, and respectful, making the experience completely stress-free.

Us moving from the South End to Back Bay was already a big job, especially with my large home office and those fragile glass boards I bought during the pandemic. They crack easily if they’re tilted the wrong way, so I was honestly nervous about transporting them. The team at 617 Boston Movers handled everything carefully. They measured each board, packed them upright, and secured them with cardboard corners to keep them protected. Not a single scratch on any of them. 617 Boston Movers really knows how to handle delicate items.

Moving is the worst. 617 Boston Movers made it so much better. They were extremely fast and efficient and came in under budget. Truly, could not ask for a better outcome than that. I have moved cross country and in town multiple times and this is one of the best experiences I have had moving.
