Late Friday notice of delivery for Monday. Missed the call (I called back Friday evening, over the weekend and 8am Monday morning to no avail) and now it will be almost 2 weeks until the delivery I have waiting for months for. The worst part... they blamed the customer for the delay. Ridiculous*Update* There was a "cancellation" shortly after posting the original review and the delivery was made the next day at 8am. The 30 minute call ahead occurred at 6:00am. I will say that the delivery team (Jeremy) was very professional and friendly once he arrived.
Jody is the best. She was super accommodating and helpful. She really saved me with my move. The guys who picked up my belongings were very professional. Overall, exceptional service.
We recently hired Accent to handle the relocation of our business, and they were fantastic from start to finish. As the manager overseeing the move, I was impressed with how organized, efficient, and professional the entire team was. They arrived on time, communicated clearly throughout the process, and handled everything—from office furniture to fragile equipment—with great care. The move was completed on schedule with no disruptions to our operations, which was a huge win. Their team really made what could have been a stressful experience smooth and manageable. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again or recommend them to others planning a business move.
I have used Accent Moving in the past with good results so I decided to use them again for my last move in October. Jody came to the house, wrote up and estimate for approx 12 hours and I explained that I was trying to keep the move at 8 hours or less and that I would have everything dissambled and they only had to move the large items, not the boxes. The crew showed up and did not work as effeciently as the previous crews. They were not as organized and took lots of breaks. Management even showed up on a couple of occasions because it was taking them so long. They finished in approx 11.5 hours but the foreman gave us a bill of laden for 8 hours. I was pleasantly surprised and wrote the check for the 8 hours plus $164 for the additional damage protection policy. I pointed out damage caused by the crew to the foreman and even took pictures. Then I never heard back from them. I sent an email on Nov. 6, another on Nov 14, February 17 & 19th and then on February 25th was finally notified that because they gave me a "discount" on the move, they would not reimburse me for $2,037 in damages created by the movers. They offered to "process" the claim and "take a look" at it if I paid them an additional $1,050! I truly was not expecting this type of reply. I paid extra for damage protection and now I have a damaged headboard, grill cover and washing machine. Not a good way to do business in my opinion.
