The movers were very friendly and efficient, but the admins tried to charge us for a 4-hour minimum fee even though the move took 3 hours in total, and our signed moving services agreement (MSA) said that only a 2-hour minimum would be applicable. In addition, the original quote mentioned that all materials used during the move (shrink wrap, moving blankets, etc.) were included in the hourly rate ($229/hour for 3 movers and 1 truck), but the final invoice also included a ~$35 charge for materials.

For context, I had switched our destination from an apartment building unit to a storage unit on short notice and asked whether we needed an updated MSA, but we were told no. Fast forward to the end of the move, I had to call the customer service rep, Kevin, to dispute the invoice. He said that moves to a storage unit are supposed to have a different MSA with a 4-hour minimum charge because they know that they typically take less time--he just forgot about it when I called the day prior. As an aside, a 2-hour minimum charge that only applies when they know the move will almost certainly take longer seems misleading. After I referenced the all-inclusive hourly rate, and the signed MSA, he sent us an updated invoice with a 3-hour moving charge and no material charge.

I wanted to give 5 stars because the movers were excellent, but I'm giving 4 stars because we were almost overcharged by nearly $300. I wish we could have hired the movers again, but we wouldn't choose Signature Moving for future moves due to the billing situation.

I recently moved for the first time in 16 years and I am absolutely delighted with the service I received from Signature Moving and highly recommend them to anyone considering a move.

I initially called a prominent moving company and they quoted me an astronomical rate, immediately pressured me to book an appointment and inundated me with marketing emails. That turned me right off.

When I contacted Signature Moving on the other hand, I received a call from the owner Andrei who politely explained his services and asked me questions concerning the logistics of the move.He quoted me a very reasonable rate but did not in anyway pressure me to confirm.

He also did not spam me with unnecessary emails.

On moving day he was joined by his movers Maurice and Mark and together they moved my entire apartment from one location to the other in about two hours. The entire team was incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient in their job.

Most importantly, all of my items which include hundreds of pieces of delicate fine bone china arrived undamaged.

At the end of the day the final bill was actually less than the initial quote.

It was a pleasure doing business with these guys.

They are fast, efficient, and take good care of my belongings. I have tons of stuff and am moving from a big apartment into a smaller one. They stormed in and wrapped all my furnitures in either blankets or plastic wrap, and moved into truck very quickly. And I got all the help I need to fit my belongings into my new apartment. No damage to anything. Nice and quick. Recommended!
