I want to share my experience to help others be cautious. After notifying Ken the owner about canceling my moving appointment, I received a message from Ken that felt unprofessional and a bit confrontational. Ken mentioned not even scheduling me yet as a “blessing” and announced a $100 booking fee policy to charge customers who cancel.
The whole time, I was under the impression that I was already scheduled since Ken asked for my email and said he would send a quote on the day of the move. This made the cancellation feel confusing and confrontational.
While I understand businesses need policies, the way this was communicated left a bad impression. If you’re considering their services, be aware that cancellation policies might be strict and the tone of communication may not be as respectful as expected.
Proceed carefully and make sure you clarify all terms upfront.

Ken’s Pack & Move is hands down the BEST moving company I’ve ever used! I called them same day—literally at 3:30 in the afternoon—expecting to be told “sorry, too late.” Instead, Ken himself picked up, was friendly and reassuring, and had a crew at my place by 5:00 sharp. Talk about service!

From the moment they arrived, it was all business (in the best way). They were fast, efficient, careful with my things, and worked together like a well-oiled machine. On top of that, they had that true hometown feel—good guys you can instantly trust, the kind who care about their work and their customers.

The price was beyond fair—no hidden fees, no upselling, just honest, reasonable rates. They didn’t beat me over the head with extra costs like so many moving companies try to do. Instead, they treated me with respect, worked quickly, and got everything done without a single hitch.
