Jacob and Jay were professional, courteous, and efficient with our move. They got everything done in just a couple of hours and took great care with all our things. The pricing for All My Sons was very reasonable, and I never felt pressured into making a decision. Compared to other moving companies, where asking for a quote led to several calls and emails for days, I really appreciated their sales approach. I’m glad I chose them for our move!
We recently downsized from a large home to an apartment. We had some large furniture we need moved from a 2 story house to a 3rd floor apartment. Cory, Ethan and Jay were professional, patient and so kind! I had a difficult driveway and large, bulky furniture. They wrapped it beautifully and everything arrived in perfect condition. Even my mother's glass curio cabinet which is quite old! We lucked out with the team we got for our move! They were personable and down to earth. I really don't have enough wonderful things to say about them. My husband did lots of research and my daughter used All My Sons for her recent move. She had a different team, but also had excellent service. Thank you! I hope your company acknowledges the teams that work well together - they definitely deserve it!
I called Saturday night to book a move for Sunday. I paid a deposit and was quoted $265 for the move for an hour of time. Sunday morning…no call or confirmation during the scheduled time. I had to call 4 different numbers to reach someone. I was told that my move wasn’t confirmed and that a crew could be at my home in an hour. The rep then started speaking fast about all the charges for materials and other things. The price kept going up. I shared with her my quoted price and expressed that I am not interested in paying more than I was quoted unless we went over time. At the end of the nonproductive conversation, I asked for a refund. I should’ve listened to the other negative reviews. I do not recommend this company.Edit: After my review, I did receive a call from a representative of the company. Cailin was extremely professional and listed to the situation as I explained it. I was pleased with the accountability and the promise to use this situation as a training opportunity. While I can’t speak to their moving abilities, I can say that the phone call gave me hope that the company will do a better job with future customers. Therefore, I increased my stars based on the customer service from Cailin.
I called All my son’s needing a last minute move on a holiday. Not only were they one of the most affordable moving companies, their mover, Walter, was absolutely wonderful! He kept me informed of the entire process, was very professional, courteous, fast and careful with belongings. Would definitely not hesitate to use again!
*^^*^^Update********I attempted to do what Marie stated in her response and again was stonewalled by the guy “Ace” who states that I have a balance on my account still and they will not process our claim until the balance is paid. We have a statement showing a zero balance and we were never contacted by the company to pay any additional fees for the move. When asked to speak to someone to help resolve this matter and get our claims processed they stated not until you pay your balance. This is a horrible company that takes no responsibility for their actions or those of their employees and it is sick and disgusting.We used All My Sons Moving and Storage Chattanooga to move us to Nashville and if we could give a zero star rating we would. They showed up over and hour and a half late to start. After they showed up they decided that they were going to change the fees for the move and we had to fight with them over that. There were four guys there and half the time there was only two of the four working. They were not careful with our belongings at all. What should have taken at most three hours to load the truck took them over four hours. Then it took them over six hours to get from Chattanooga to Nashville which is crazy in of itself. We thought at one point they stole all our belongings. Then when they got to our new place they worked out how long it would take and we paid for the services prior to completion. Again half the time there were two guys standing around doing nothing. They went through our belongings. They broke every piece of furniture that we had. They crushed boxes that were clearly marked fragile. Breaking irreplaceable items. My boyfriend was moving more than these people did and it took them more time then then I can even imagine it should have taken due to the fact that they weren’t interested in doing the job. They also went through our belongings and took things. My boyfriend caught them attempting to take tools that were moved by them. I have spoken to the people at the corporate office for them and they told me to file a claim for all the broken furniture and items. This move took place on August 6 and we filed the claim within two weeks of the move and I have called multiple times to ask what the status of the claim is and have been told that until I pay my bill they will not process the claim although I have a receipt showing I have a zero balance. This company we’ll not acknowledge the fact that I have paid nor will they process the claim for all the broken items. We had moved to Chattanooga using another company and they packed and moved us and it took less time then this move did and we packed everything. I will never use this company and will tell everyone how horribly they respond to their customers.
