Recent reviews frequently mention on-time arrivals, efficient crews, and careful protection of doors and furniture. Customers note that items are placed in the correct rooms and reassembled as needed, with friendly movers who check placement before wrapping up. Several reviews highlight responsive scheduling and clear communication before move day. There is an isolated negative review citing concerns with an out-of-state estimate and payment method.
The guys were awesome! They arrived right on time and got to work immediately. All boxes and items were placed in the correct rooms as labeled and nothing was damaged in any way. They were also very patient with my wife and I when we were figuring out how to arrange our furniture. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of movers.
Perfect moving experience with Little Guys! Jay and Sinathy moved my furniture out of my old house and into my new one (in state move) with the utmost care, and were very friendly and nice to work with. Furniture was wrapped, blanketed, etc. and my doors were protected during move out/in. Furniture was reassembled perfectly and placed nicely in my home. I will definitely use Little Guys again and recommend this company to anyone looking to move easily and stress-free in the college station/bryan area.
We had an extremely poor experience with the Little Guys Movers College Station franchise, and I’m documenting this to help other customers avoid the same outcome.Robert (the location manager) came to our home to perform the estimate and stated the move would require **three trucks**. The quote was later sent via email, and we were instructed that payment for the out-of-state move would need to be made by **money order** for over $12,000.On moving day, the crew arrived and it became immediately clear they were **short an entire truck**. Several crew members indicated this was not unusual and that the estimate provided was materially under-scoped. Given the time of day, the long drive ahead, and the reality of coordinating children and livestock, we had limited ability to pause and re-plan the move in real time.We were repeatedly assured that our belongings would be delivered to the new location without issue. Instead, we later learned that because the company was unable to secure the necessary equipment, a significant amount of our furniture and household items were placed into an **outdoor shed** (the type of structure used for livestock feed and farm storage). This included high-value items such as an **$800 office chair**, along with children’s items. That is not an acceptable standard of care for a professional moving company. When we contacted the office to resolve the situation, we were told the soonest they could provide an additional truck would be **at the end of the month**. That timeline was operationally impossible. As a result, we had to hire another moving company (Flex Movers) to complete the move the same day at an additional **$2,000** cost on top of what we had already paid. Despite the broader failures, we still tipped the six-person crew **$150 per mover**, because our frustration was with management and planning, not the labor team on site.To Robert’s credit, we received a **$1,000 refund**. However, that merely covered the tip paid to the crew and still did not offset the **full $2,000** expense incurred to hire a replacement moving company at the last minute. It also does not address the ongoing issues we’ve uncovered since delivery. In the weeks since, we’ve identified **multiple instances of damage** to furniture (much of it expensive), as well as **missing items** including basic tools such as shovels and other equipment. In summary, this was a breakdown in estimation, planning, communication, and basic handling standards. If this is a franchise location, the ownership group should review the operational practices at this branch closely. At a minimum, customers deserve accurate capacity planning, appropriate storage and safeguarding of property, and a realistic recovery plan when issues arise. None of those standards were met here.I cannot recommend this location.
I initiated communication with Little Guys Movers with Jamal. He was extremely helpful and guided me through the process that I didn’t understand. The company called multiple times to ensure everything was on point and ready to go for the moving date. Jonathan and Chance arrived 15 minutes before scheduled and immediately went to work. They were fast, efficient and finish the job over 30 minutes ahead of schedule. All three individuals made this process flawless, and I will most definitely return to Little Guys Movers in the future. I highly suggest using them for any of your moving needs. Fantastic job, gentlemen.
The movers were on time and efficient. They asked questions and wanted to make sure we got the most out of them for the 2 hours they were there. Great work ethic and the company itself was by far the most efficient from start to end. They responded immediately to the quote request and were able to make changes when a crew was not available for the time needed. Highly recommend.
