Choose SAFE HAUL! Seriously it was one of the best decisions I made during this move. We had another company fall through and I called them last minute. Like within 48 hours of when we needed to move. They responded within an hour and were onsite for a quote in two. I was beyond stressed, the owner assured me they would get it all done and it would be a stress free process. He stuck true to his word. We did a pack, move, and stage for the furniture. All of the furniture was wrapped and padded, the kitchen (which was my biggest concern) was wrapped and packed accordingly. The guys were friendly even entertained the littles while packing. I did help pack a few things since we had some tubs but besides that it was hands free. I was able to clean as they packed up. Once at our new house they put all the boxes in desired rooms and placed furniture where I wanted it. Seriously couldn’t have asked for a more smooth transaction. Thank you so much for all your help. I will definitely be using them again.
Disgusting service! If you want to spend a lot of your money and lose a considerable amount of time, nerves, and valuable property to your heart, hire these guys. We wanted to get a turnkey service with packing and transporting all our belongings, but we got a headache and a bill for almost 7 thousand dollars!!! Sheer unprofessionalism; even a child knows better how to pack things and put them in a box. Look at the pictures of how they packed our things. Can you imagine six grown men doing this work? Seems like they were just picked up from the street, had no idea what they suppose to do, and has no physical ability to do this job. The movers were unable to cope with a 3-bedroom house in 12 hours of work, even though the whole of our family worked with them tirelessly without stopping. We had to finish their job within the next few days using our cars. They also took an infinite number of smoke breaks and lunch breaks; in total, they rested for at least 2.5 hours, which were then included in the final bill. The distance from the old house to the new one was less than a mile, but we were charged for an hour on the road and more than $140 for gas. Moreover, during the breaks, the movers drank beer! The only person who knew what he was doing was a foreman named John, but he couldn't handle five useless workers on his own. After spending a total of 12 hours with us, of which the movers worked at most 9 hours, they billed us for 13 hours of work. After we brought our complaint to the owner's attention, he "graciously" offered us a discount of two hours (very generous, taking into account that they worked a maximum of 9 hours), which we declined and demanded compensation based on time wasted by employees and damages, broken dishes, and damaged furniture. We were willing to pay for 8 hours total after two hours discount. After that, the business owner stopped communicating.
I need to thank SAFE HAUL MOVING for the professional service provided for a 6 bedroom house move. From the moment my phone call was answered to the moment they said goodbye, it was truly an excellent experience!They were on time, polite, energetic and showed a genuine interest for the care of my property. Not only did they arrive on time but came with the correct equipment and all the packing materials and supplies that were needed. “AJ” was on hand to supervise the entire operation from the truck arrival to the secure packing, loading, unloading, unpacking and placement of furniture in my house and storage unit. As an added bonus they also hung up several large paintings for me which I did not expect. They made sure to keep hallways clean& clear as possible. They also took away boxes and packing material that i would have had to dispose of myself. It was a lengthy process that took xxx days.I had anticipated a very frustrating and dreadful experience just due to logistics and sheer number of items but i cannot believe how well it went!I hope I never have to move again, but if i do, I would highly would use Safe Haul again as they are exemplary and I recommend them highly.
