These guys are great! Highly recommend. I booked for two hours because we had a whole trailer and everything had to go upstairs, but two gentleman had everything out and upstairs in 45 minutes. Very impressive! They were good about making sure our stuff was not hitting walls and gentle with the boxes. I would recommend them to anyone.

The owner came for a professional walk-through to assess the unique furniture pieces my mother has and give us a quote for packing/wrapping the furniture, and loading it onto the truck we had reserved. He looked at every piece and assured us that yes, they have the proper supplies to package up those fragile and unusual pieces and would be able to get all that packaged, professionally secured, and loaded on the moving truck we had reserved for our move.

Day of 'packing': crew arrived at 10am sharp, and began wrapping (with furniture blankets and plastic wrap). They did not come prepared with the correct type or amount of wrapping materials, they also had no tools, to take apart the furniture pieces they were going to disassemble and wrap - that was agreed upon in the walkthrough. We supplied all tools and most provisions, even the straps they brought were not the right size for us to use... They ran out of the few supplies they did bring ... so myself, my mother, and my sister EACH made a separate trip to the store to buy more supplies... The box 'supplies' that they brought with them were USED boxes, and never in the 20+ moves I have personally made being active duty military, EVER had a professional moving company come with used boxes which they charged us for... They wrapped things that we told them multiple times were NOT to be wrapped/not going in the move... We asked them multiple times to load some of the heavier pieces in the truck to make more room for packing/wrapping, which went ignored. Finally, as 5pm, still with nothing loaded on the truck, I asked sternly for some of the heavier pieces to be loaded on the truck. They assure me and my mother multiple times throughout the day "Today we are packing, tomorrow we are loading...." surprising since they came with incorrect packing supplies and no tools... when they left at 5:30pm, they took EVERYTHING they came with, odd since they assured us they would be back bright and early to finish and load... and I got an invoice for that day's work of over $1,500 that "had to be paid by midnight!"

At 8/9pm, I received some devastating news about a death in his family, and he had to drive out of state to be there for his family, and so his company would not be back on the morning.

For the 7 hours that we hired 'Central Arkansas Movers' and for 'their' supplies, the invoice was over $1,500. We HAD TO PAY IT BY 12:00AM/midnight, and were pressured to do so, even though I expressed multiple concerns about broken pieces, their lack of tools, the job left half done, etc. As I was loading the truck I noticed some pieces that were broken... I texted him, sent him pictures and video, and asked about them. He said "oh, that piece had something on the back, but it should be ok, won't damage it..." I sent him an email about the concerns that I had in how 'packing day' went, and how things were not on the truck, and the MAIN pieces my mother was concerned with HAD NOT BEEN WRAPPED/PACKED. Those were the pieces that he said "Oh yes, we have everything to wrap those professionally and secure them professionally and safely to the truck", and now, he was not coming back...

He left my mother 100% in an emergency situation to try and find someone LAST MINUTE to finish the work he assured us he would be able to do.

I have reached out to the owner multiple times, he assured me that he would call me in three days time, to go over the concerns that I had and see if we could work something out, in regards to his unprofessional behavior, unpreparedness in not having the supplies or tools that he assured us he would bring, and the damage to the three pieces of furniture that I discovered before loading things on the truck (two broken mirrors, and a marble top end table where the marble just came right off the furniture... ????). I have not heard back from him and this is the fourth day..

I would not recommend this company to ANYONE, and we will be contacting the Better Business Bureaus.
