I can’t say enough about the service, professionalism and empathy that the team at Elder Moving showed my 90 year old parents through their move from the island to the mainland. Moving can be a very traumatic experience as you age and I know it was painful for my parents to leave their beautiful home of 20 years but more importantly their long time friends. I was not able to assist as I recently had my hip replaced so this service was a huge relief for me as well. Kayla understood my parents needs and limitations. She was extremely detailed and thorough, sharing a quote that clearly outlined the tasks, estimated time and their pricing. It gave us a great overall picture of what to expect from a financial aspect. And she delivered. We had a productive complimentary consultation. Kayla created a schedule so my parents knew what days she was coming to pack, organize donations, arrange Marketplace sales, moving day, as well as doing the final clean of the house. My parent’s real- estate agent was thrilled with the cleanliness of the house. He was proud to hand it over to the new owners. Colby did a great job assessing the value of some of their antiques and furniture with quick transactions. Colby and John were superstars on moving day. We had no damage and they positioned their furniture perfectly in their new place. When my parents arrived at their new home, Kayla had unpacked 85% of their belongings and came back the next day to hang and organize a few things. It felt like home! Elder Moving is a professional company that goes above and beyond. They truly care about their clients. They treat them with respect and dignity. I highly recommend them.

Colby and Kayla were great! They did everything from sorting and packing fragile items to advertising and selling a car and other valuables. Also did a thorough clean up after the move. Kayla and her team took on a job for my mother that others would not. I still look back and wonder how it got done, but it got done! I would call Kayla the miracle worker. Every task, every challenge, and believe me, there were many, were met head on and with total professionalism and compassion, coupled with an all around positive attitude. On the harder days, she took the time to check in to make sure all aspects of health - mental, emotional, physical and spiritual (relative to the individual), were tended to. Also her choice in employees seems to be on a higher standard than I've witnessed in the moving industry. The team is quick thinking and adapts to all situations. I cannot say enough about the excellant service we received from Kayla and Elder Moving. Having to quickly move our parents furniture out of their condo I needed help. Kayla organized all the planning and removal. She took the stress and worry away, not just moving the furniture but getting it recycled to where it could be used elsewhere. She also took on the challenge to ride home a scooter we needed to transport. It was an enjoyable and worry free experience working with Elder Moving and I would recommend Kayla anytime.
