Affordable Movers

The movers were great (Jake, Jeremy, Carson). The billing and communication? Incredibly unprofessional and very bait-and-switch. We booked two movers for four hours, and three showed up. When we called to confirm the change, we were told we'd only be charged for two because one was in training on his first day. Fine. Then came time to pay and we were charged for three. When we pushed back, they backpedaled and tried to spin it as doing us a favor by sending an extra guy. That's not what we were told, it's not what we booked, and things got very awkward between us and the movers during payment. Told to call Frank to resolve it. Still waiting on that callback. The guys who did the actual moving were hardworking and professional, and I'd have no complaints if the business side matched that. We tipped each guy very well, so this isn't about the money. But the bait-and-switch on pricing and the "we're actually helping you" excuse was in very poor taste. If you use them, get everything in writing and do everything you can to avoid dealing with Cynthia.

I just moved apartments using Affordable Movers. My guys, Jake and Trent, did an excellent job. They showed up near the beginning of the arrival window, worked fast, and drove the loaded truck very carefully through town. All the furniture in the truck was covered with protective blankets and secured to the truck. Affordable movers really makes this whole process easy. They arrive with everything needed for the move; the truck, load straps and tie downs, a hand truck, all the protective blankets, etc. All you have to do is box your stuff up and be ready to go when they arrive.

I’ve gone through 5 moves in the last 7 years which I don’t recommend! ?? This was my first time using Affordable Movers, hopefully this is my last move and I don’t have to use them again, but I would use them absolutely them again! Josh, Jacob, and Caleb were a true team, so friendly and they worked so efficiently they cut an hour off my estimated move which saved me a lot of money! I’m so impressed, I wish I’d used them for my last couple moves.
