I’ve just concluded a successful move from Vancouver to Calgary. Everyone I dealt with was great. Clear communication, expectations were set and met. Angelo, the owner and Yori worked well as a team. The handled the items with care and nothing was damaged. They showed consideration for my time and resources and were very transparent. I had opportunities to chat with Angelo during pick up and drop off and learned of his values which were clear to see in the way he conducts things. I highly recommend Cloverdale Van Lines to anyone looking to move. They have decades of experience, they have good values and they will treat you and your things very well.
Like most people here, I came to Google to look at reviews for movers to facilitate my move from Vancouver to Calgary. Cloverdale Moving Vanlines was a great pleasure to work with. Their communication was great, they informed me of when items can arrive at my destination, and they were flexible on the move out and move in dates to accommodate my elevator bookings for the two apartments. The movers themselves are very professional, assisted with wrapping up my items in furniture blankets, but overall provided a very fair price for the move and didn't charge me any packing labour (I did the packing myself, but the movers added the finishing wrapping before loading). They even took things I wasn't expecting them to take, such as my bicycle. None of my items were damaged in transit and the move in and move out was very efficient. If you are like me, you might be apprehensive about which moving company to pick to get the job done right. If you read this far please understand that I would highly recommend this company for your move, big or small. Thanks again,Jeremy
It was a great experience working with Angelo and his partner during my move. I moved from Calgary to Vancouver Island. What was great about working with them is that they are quick to follow-up if you have any questions, they explain the entire process, inform you of each charge, are always punctual, and of course, handled all of my belongings with care. They were also super friendly guys and dealt with the strict condo boards well. Working with them took a lot of stress off of me during this move. I appreciate all their help and their positive attitudes throughout the move.
Here is my experience with Cloverdale movers. This is an actual review with replies from the owner.1. Quote for a 3 bedroom hole was 3190 dollars for 5500 lbs as you can see from the attached photos an average 3 bedroom home is between 9-11 thousand lbs. THE ACTUAL COST WAS OVER 10,000 Dollars. After over 20 years in the business you would think their estimate for weight would be more accurate.2. Called me two hours after leaving to tell me I could be at the scale to see how much our load was. This was not reasonable to let us know this when rush hour was in full effect. Very poor communication again.3. Went to start my Miele coffee machine only to find that their own packaging of this expensive espresso machine was damaged inside. They told me that electrical components were not covered which is something i signed AFTER they packed this up without my permission or knowledge. Additionally they told me coffee makers have a 5 year shelf life. This machine has a 25 year shelf life. The machine now does not have coffee come through its dispenser rather ends up in the waste water. So in the end it cost me over 7000 dollars more than my quote. PLUS I know have a damaged machine which they REFUSE to take responsibility for.
We had an incredible experience with Cloverdale Vanlines! Moving can be such a stressful process, let alone moving provinces (BC to Alberta) so it was fantastic to see how smooth and worry-free Cloverdale Moving made things. Every step of the way, from speaking with Gana (the sales representative) to Angelo (the owner) was professional and very easy to deal with. Our belongings arrived in Calgary without any damage, and the commitment to quality service from Angelo and team was amazing. They definitely went the extra mile in protecting all of our fragile belongings. Thank you to Cloverdale Vanlines for leaving us with such a positive experience and would definitely recommend them to anyone moving!
