I never provide reviews...but The Canadian Association of Movers suggested I write a review - Trying to achieve a resolution on this matter. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give this company a 0 but have to give one star on this system. For our 2025 move, we paid Crescent Moving over 18K for a cross country move. Six months later we are still trying to see a resolution. A lot of our valuables never showed up - a total value north of 40K, sentimental items, antiques, etc. For the stuff that did show up, there was a lot of damage, furniture, lamps, stereo equipment. The moving day was filled with complete and utter chaos - moving assistants who just dropped stuff whereever and left a sofa standing up on a 90 degree angle, did not reassemble most disassembled furniture at origin. Broken pieces off a dresser placed in a wardrobe found weeks later. Now the company is dodging us/deflecting resolution. If you have valuables you actually want to see again...I wish I never hired them. a lot of stress and upset, sleepless nights, ongoing saga continues...
We had this company recommended, and we were pleased with their service. The quote and pre-move communication was swift and efficient. The team that loaded the truck deserve a medal for fitting our life in there so well! The moving day had one hiccup with a misplaced truck key, but the job got done, our belongings got to our new home in tact, and the small team worked tirelessly to get it done. We won't move anytime soon, but I'd recommend them to someone who needs a reliable service.
Thom, Erik, and the team at Crescent/NA Van Lines did an amazing job for my parents after 8 other places said they could not help with a cross-border move. They set up the move on the perfect day for my parents, made time to come early to inventory to make the day-of smoother, advised us on who to talk to about complexities of cross-border relocation that were out of their hands, and took tremendous care with my parents' possessions. (They did most of the packing rather than us; nothing got broken.) I would absolutely use them again!
Great experience with Crescent Moving. From Thom who coordinated the pickup from West Kelowna and the shipment to our US home, to Martin who was excellent in loading our 43 boxes and crates, to Don who transported our goods from Canada and efficiently unloaded the shipment. All boxes were accounted for, all arrived in good condition, and not one packed item was damaged.
