These guys did an amazing job moving for me. We moved both my apartment and fiancés home on the same day so it was a very long day. They were kind, efficient, and did not destroy anything. My quote was almost exact . I called SEVERAL moving companies and these guys had the best price. Others wanted double for the same work these guys did. Very happy with them. I would use them again and recommend to anyone.
Note: The review below is not a reflection on the guys who performed the move. Joaquin, Raul and Edwin were all fantastic, hardworking, and respectful for the entire move. I would happily trust them with my stuff again and give each of them 5 stars for their service. However, this job was severely mishandled on the business side and this has cause me a significant financial setback. Thus, I rate the business 1-star and will never be returning or recommending them in the future.TL;DR - Due to mismanagement of this job, I ended up paying double what was estimated.The franchise owner himself came out to my previous address to see all the items I needed to move one single block away to a new house. I specifically requested 3 movers because I have heavy stuff that would be moved a lot faster that way. I told him exactly what needed to be moved and the condition (boxed or unboxed) everything would be in when the movers arrived. He gave me what I thought was a very accurate and reasonable quote for 3 movers, 3-5 hours.On moving day, things were going great until about 1.5 hours in when the team lead got called by the boss and told to go to a second location to help take care of an "angry customer". He told me that he would be gone only for a short time, and would bring back a 4th mover that I would not be charged for to help make up for the lost time. He was actually gone from 10:10am to 4pm. As a result of his absence, the remaining two guys had to move all of my heavy stuff (the reason I requested 3 in the first place) by themselves and this took FOREVER as a result. The move time ballooned as a result.For context, they took 7 HOURS to move out my stuff, and only 2 hours to move it in to the new place. This is because my third mover came back at 4pm with his friend and, lo and behold, all of the heavy items were very easy and quick to move with more than 2 people. Then I get the invoice and find out that I am getting charged for the 4th mover I never requested in the first place. So, instead of paying the $1000 or so I was quoted (very fairly in my opinion), I am stuck paying about $2000 and had to waste my entire day watching what was supposed to be a 3-5 hour job become a 10 hour day-long event that wasted my time and the movers time. I felt so bad for these guys because it was Valentine's day and all of them were clearly not happy about the situation.In conclusion, at best this was horrible management, at worst it almost seems like intentional fraud to fill a day low on business and make more money off me. I am a repeated customer to College Hunks and this is the first bad experience I have had. Needless to say, I will never be coming back to them for future business and will never again recommend them to anyone else.
Moving sucks however College Hunks was truly a bright spot in this experience. We moved 20 miles and the four movers that took care of us and our belongings we excellent and exceeded our highest expectations. I want to thank College Hunks and Alvaro, Austin, Benja and Joaquin for making our move so carefree and doing it for an incredible price.

Chad, Ben, and Edwin were top notch!! Fast, efficient, friendly, and just all around good guys. They were awesome about all that I needed and I will wholeheartedly recommend them and College Hunks to all my friends and family. Glad I was driving past a truck on the freeway a week ago!
