Customer feedback often highlights friendly crews who work efficiently, arrive on time, and protect belongings well. Several reviews praise careful handling on stairs and in multi-level homes. A few customers reported difficulties with damage follow-up and communication after the move. Overall ratings skew positive with many repeat recommendations, but expectations around claims response should be discussed upfront.

Theodore & Skye Bush on Miracle Movers

On October 13, 2025, we hired Miracle Movers of Raleigh and paid a $150 deposit to secure a move scheduled for October 15, 2025. During the move on October 15, 2025, one of Miracle Movers’ staff members was carrying two dumbbells upstairs when he tripped, fell, and struck his head. During the fall, one of the dumbbells caused a deep gouge in a stair tread.

We heard the incident and went to investigate. The staff member was seated on the stairs rubbing his head and stated that he had tripped and fallen. He immediately acknowledged the damage, expressed remorse, and reported the incident to someone within his company. We then paid the remaining balance of $482.30, bringing the total amount paid to $632.30.

Later that same day, October 15, 2025, we received an email from Jarrett Hagwood, Claims Specialist with Miracle Movers of Raleigh, which included a claim form and instructions for submitting a damage claim. One of the required steps was obtaining a repair estimate. On October 31, 2025, we submitted all requested documentation. Jarrett confirmed receipt of the documents and stated, “The timeframe for resolution is 60–90 days, but I am hoping to be able to get this done as soon as possible.”

On December 11, 2025, we contacted Jarrett Hagwood requesting an update but did not receive a response. We followed up again on December 19, 2025, regarding the status of our claim and again received no response. On December 29, 2025, at 8:59 p.m., we reached out a third time and included additional Miracle Movers staff email addresses listed on the company’s website, requesting an update. Jarrett Hagwood responded on December 30, 2025, at 10:08 a.m., stating that a personal family emergency had caused the delay. He further stated, “All of your claim paperwork has been submitted, and I am currently awaiting a response from the General Manager. I understand that your claim is approaching the 90-day mark, and I want you to know that I am actively working to get this resolved as soon as possible. I was informed that approval is pending at the corporate level, and I will be reaching out personally to follow up on the status.”

On January 22, 2026, we contacted Jarrett Hagwood again to request an update. He responded on January 23, 2026, stating, “We are still actively working toward a resolution and are currently awaiting approval from corporate to move forward,” and included Robin Bennette in the email.

At this time, we have waited beyond the stated 90-day timeframe for resolution of the claim. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We are requesting that Miracle Movers of Raleigh pay for the damages to our stairs caused by their staff member. We do NOT recommend this moving company.

Ashley Coyle on Miracle Movers

The sellers of our home used Miracle Movers. They happen to be there on our final walk through and were very polite. Unfortunately, some damages occurred while they were moving the sellers’ things. They assured us that Miracle Movers would repair the damage. It has been over 2 months now and it has been impossible just to get someone to follow through. I’ve talked to multiple people but none of them followed up with the process or reached out.

Sam’s crew is the best I have ever experienced and I have had quite a few moves! They were able to move the contents of my 3 bedroom townhouse efficiently and the best part is they did it without a scratch. All together came in around $800 which is much lower than the same move a year ago when I had less stuff. If you are trying to figure out who to use for your move (and trust me, moving companies can be competitive) these guys can make it an easy process from getting an estimate (Ben was great too) to the truck pulling out of the driveway in your new home. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

These guys hustle, they don’t complain, there optimistic and willing to keep on doing the job regardless of how long it’s been or how indecisive the client is (me). Moving to a new house is stressful, our stuff does not fit the way we envisioned and this crew fully accommodated our needs to make sure our new home was set up right. They would have stayed all night if needed. Regardless, the care and precision used while transporting all our belongings was top notch and the service was A+.

Tami Velasco Conley on Miracle Movers

Camron, Shaun, and Brian showed up half an hour early and got us fully moved from a tri-level Townhouse in Morrisville to a 2-story single family house at the top of a VERY steep driveway in Cary in less than 5 hours. They were kind, courteous, and careful with everything they moved. They even taught me a packing tape trick that I will use forever more. No more annoying tape dispensers for me! I found Miracle Movers about 3 weeks before the move when I asked for recommendations on the local subreddits. And they were also recommended on the Single Parents of the Triangle FaceBook page. I was very impressed that they came out to view my home to get me the most accurate estimate they could give. And they beat a competitor’s price. I am thrilled to include myself in their success story. I will recommend them to all that ask! I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could.
