I have a complete different perspective about movers w/ a Moving Company. !!I used Pack & Go out of OKC. They were only moving a split king bed and adjustable base. They are taking it to my sister in NC. You would think it was Gold and Diamonds these guys were hauling. The care and attention they put in to making sure everything is protected was above and beyond!! Not to mention there explanation of the contract and all the steps I would be required to make. Albert & Bob weren’t only big strong guys they were very intelligent and personable. They had to go through a retirement apartment dining hall to get to the apartment. Albert even helped an elderly deaf gentleman as he was walking through!! What an amazing person. These guys need some kind of recognition indeed! Thanks guys for your hard work and kindness.Steven Pittman ??????
Before I give this review of my horrible moving experience from Texas to Arizona, I would like to thank Sarah and Dustin for their attempts to help in this situation. Moving long distance is never easy but my experience was unacceptable and included a DOT Violation 49 CFR § 375.703 which I will explain below. On January 6th, Leo and two teenagers showed up in an Enterprise Truck that carried another load to load my items from Corpus Christi, TX. Before Leo arrived he sent me alarming text messages asking “if I lived on a military base” because his helpers looked really young and he wasn’t sure if they had a record. Red flag #1. I should also start by saying I used American Moving Services who is a broker that I WILL NEVER use again also due to their poor assistance which is how Pack & Go was selected. When Leo and team did arrive, almost an hour after their initial time given. I was met with unprofessionalism to include being told that it could take up to 30 days for my items to arrive, that American Moving Services was crap and that Leo did not trust his helpers. Yes, I did read my contract and was aware this was a possibility of up to 30 days, however when I spoke to American Moving Services they had assured me of a certain delivery day. They of course threw the contract back at me so I asked for my call to be pulled if it was recorded. American Moving also did not provide me with the payment terms (deposit, then 2nd payment could be cash or card with a 5% processing fee, and that final payment had to be cash or money order. These payment terms were provided to me once I had signed my contract (which I expressed to Brian Malone who was the representative that I worked) that this is bad business to let me know after signing. This information should have been communicated prior.Once my items were loaded by Pack & Go, I provided a first available delivery date of January 9th. I was excited to hear that my items were going to be delivered on January 13th. Here is where this becomes a nightmare. A different driver from Virginia named Eddie delivered my items and before he unloaded I had to give my cash amount of $1,246. I gave him $1,300 since I did not have change. This was when I realized that all of my items were not loaded from Pack & Go’s Oklahoma warehouse. Again, I had to pay the full cash amount before my load could be unloaded (DOT Violation 49 CFR § 375.703). My items that were missing were: All of my sofa cushions (total of 6), three out of 4 dining room chairs, my custom side table, night stand, and holiday tote. I immediately called Pack & Go the next day to inform them and was told “I could not be provided with an ETA of when my items would be delivered because they needed to find a new driver and have a truck full that was coming back to Arizona.” I understand needing to do what’s best for business operations, however this was not my fault that my items were left. This required me to call daily for a status update until my missing items were delivered on January 31st. So from January 13-January 31st I had to deal with this with the pit in my stomach that I had paid in full and had to wait at minimum 30 days for any type of compensation which still never came for the inconvenience as I was told would happen due to all of this.I write this because I do not want anyone else to have to experience this. Maybe for local moves Pack & Go would be better but for long distance I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND using them if you’d like to have all of your items delivered at one time and without having some items damaged as well.
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Corey Rhodes for our recent storage unit move, and we couldn’t be more impressed. Corey handled the entire process with remarkable speed, efficiency, and an exceptional level of care. From the start, he was professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive & detail oriented, he knows how to play real life Tetris—making what could have been a stressful day feel smooth and easy.Corey’s expertise was evident as he expertly packed, lifted, and transported all our belongings without a hitch. His respect for our items and his commitment to doing the job right truly set him apart. If you’re looking for a mover who combines skill, speed, and genuine care, P&G is the one to call, especially if you can snag Corey! Highly recommended!
Great availability that worked with my timeline, great prices compared to competitions, and amazing work by Corey Rhodes!Moving is a nightmare, and the last moving company I went with left me with a gouged wallet and improperly stored family heirlooms and antiques. The care that Corey took to pack and move my belongings, and the speed, was impressive and made me realize just how bad my last movers were.10/10, would recommend!
I wish I could give you guys 10 starts. If you need professional moving services just hire these guys, from booking my move to signing final papers at delivery everything went perfect. Thank you for making my move back to home so stress less.Don’t look any further. Highly recommend.
