The men who did the actual moving worked hard, but were inexperienced in moving fine furniture. Two antique paintings were damaged and a marble table top was broken in two. I didn't receive a call back from the company until I reached out to them first. In all three instances I was told the damage to my furniture was my fault for not crating my pieces properly and I had signed a waver absolving them of all responsibility. It was not explained to me that they would not be able to protect my furniture as it was, and in fact was told if L & L moved it, it would be safe. This was not the case. Their response was to say the paintings were my problem and they would glue the marble back together. I suggest different movers

Jody, Kyle, and Tyler turned an endeavor I'd been dreading into a job well done. They brought more moving supplies than I expected and used them to make sure all of my furniture was well protected. A local area move I expected to take half a day took half a day thanks to their solid work.

Jody's energy and experience was readily apparent. When part of my table legs needed to come off in order for it to fit through my apartment's front door, they were ready with the needed tools.

It was one of the other guy's first day, but I couldn't tell until he told me. His diligence concealed the fact he was a newcomer to the company. The team brought energy and attention to detail to the job, and I am very grateful. I hope not to move again any time soon, but if and when I do, I would not hesitate to call L & L Moving again.

I called Mr.Lee at 8:00 am and he had his crew at my house by 10:00 am! I was thankful for the quick move on such notice. His price was fair as well. I have to give a shout out to the moving crew- Tim, Josh, and Nick. Ya’ll did an awesome job and kept me laughing! Keep up the great work! L&L moving was a huge blessing in my time of need. I highly recommend them. Professional and Personable as well!!

We had a very disappointing experience with this moving company. We were quoted approximately 5 hours, and the move ultimately took nearly 9 hours, creating significant and unexpected cost and stress.

We moved from Indiana to Alabama using a 26-ft truck, and all of our belongings were already consolidated into one storage unit. The owner did not ask to see the contents or request an inventory-only asked for the size of the unit. Every mover I've used in the past came to see the contents in person to give an accurate quote.
We were very clear that we did NOT want small items moved and that the priority was large, heavy items such as bed frames and furniture.
Additionally, all items were already wrapped and padded in the storage unit from our previous move. No additional blanket wrapping or prep was required. This was meant to be a straightforward transfer from the storage unit to the truck.

Despite these instructions, the crew loaded the truck with small items first, filled it completely, and left the large items behind. As a result, they ran out of space. The company is now refusing to return for the remaining items unless we pay additional money, which defeats the purpose of hiring movers in the first place.

They also insisted it was “impossible” for our belongings to have fit in a single 26-ft truck-despite the fact that another moving crew successfully moved the same contents in one truck... across four states, nonetheless! The issue was clearly inefficient packing and poor planning, not the volume of our belongings.

Because of this, we now have to rent another truck and personally move the heavy items we specifically hired movers to handle. We are incurring extra cost and lost wages because now we have to take off work to finish the job they were hired to do.
This experience shows a lack of organization, communication, and accountability. I would not recommend this company, especially for long-distance or carefully planned moves.

L& L Movers are by far the most efficient and professional moving company I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Their prices are reasonable and their service is exceptional! Tim and Sedrick treated my furniture as if it were their own! Most importantly, they were personable and made “moving day” a pleasurable experience. If I ever need moving services again, I would not hesitate to call them!
