They charged what they quoted, arrived when they promised, delivered when they promised, all my stuff was in good shape, and the price was very reasonable!Very happy with these folks, would absolutely reccomend.Oh, and, when I had questions they answered the phone and it was actually a human!If you're able to load and unload your own stuff, this is the way to go. Saved about $13K over a mover.
Big steel boxes are perfect for storage. Delivery and pick up was so convenient and easy the staff we're able to answer all my questions and provide An accurate timeline for pick up and delivery I would definitely use big steel Box again if I were to move hope to stay in this home for a while though lol
Priced out the cost of using the national movers, North American and one other. 18,000 - 20,000 plus storage on top. Big steel box was 5700 plus approx 200/month storage. A little sweat equity on our part and we saved a lot of money. Only downside was the box was slightly damaged which wasn’t a big issue and it wasn’t all that clean inside. I had to sweep and mop it before filled it. When it was dropped at the house we moved out from they didn’t put any blocks down to protect the driveway
Over all dealing with BigSteelBox was excellent. Rental cost per month was reasonable, Company staff were professional and responsive. My only concern with the short term one month rental I required was the high cost of the third party transport to deliver and remove the product. A 15 kilometer move with a tow truck for $350.00 each way seemed excessive. I may be out of touch with current tow truck rates but I will strongly consider other short term storage options in the future. Perhaps allowing customers to provide their own transportation would make these transport costs more competitive.
Ordered and paid for a box a week and a half a go. Delivery was between 8 and 5. Guess what no call or delivery. Wasted my entire day. Typical fort McMurray service. I do not recommend this company here. I have used them in the past with no issues. Get a competent contractor for your deliveries. This is a direct reflection on you guys. Horrible service.
