I needed quick and convenient help rearranging furniture within my home and moving things to my basement storage area. I googled "movers near me" and came across Smart Penny. The very next day they sent over a pair of movers that were above and beyond! They were punctual, friendly, talented and insured! I had a crazy list of things to be moved: A sleeper sofa to the basement, a recliner from one room to another, a bunch of stuff I'd always meant to bring down but could never find the time (or my knees hurt). My team of movers - Alberto, Alex, Omar, andJosi were great. They came right on time. Very efficient and friendly on top of it. My stuff was well taken care of. My building had an elevator issue and they were very patient. All done in 4 hours even with some issues out of their control. This is my second time using this company and I would use them again in heart beat.

After some initial disappointment at how many tubs they had to move, Alberto and Omar got right to it. They finished the job in 4 hours. Friendly. Communicative. Polite. One small hiccup as they left the legs for bed frame at origin point. Gotta nick them for that but stuff happens. It was a lot of work for just two guys I thought and I assisted when I could at arrival point. I definitely thought there’d be a third person but these guys jumped it and got it down. It was a big truck so they couldn’t get it in my driveway but they adapted and managed to park half on sidewalk across from my house as they emptied truck. It wasn’t a particularly big job but tubs of books are quite heavy.Overall? I’d recommend their services. They were more than prompt and wasted no time getting to work. Thanks to them both.
