We hired Black Tie Moving for our move in Westhaven, and the experience was beyond disappointing.During our move, three Restoration Hardware pieces were damaged, including a coffee table that alone costs over $5,000. One of the items—a lamp, was broken and never disclosed to us. We only discovered it later while unpacking, which is unacceptable and dishonest. We just bought this beautiful lamp.To make matters worse, one of their own employees apologized to us on the second day, stating how sorry he was for the poor job the first-day crew did. That alone speaks volumes.Despite the significant damage to high-end furniture, Black Tie Moving reimbursed us only $405 total for all three Restoration Hardware pieces combined. This does not even come close to covering the actual loss.This company showed a lack of care, accountability, and professionalism throughout the process. If you have valuable furniture or expect transparency and quality service, look elsewhere. I will never use Black Tie Moving again, and I strongly advise others to do the same.
