We had an excellent experience with this moving company from start to finish. The crew was punctual, professional, and incredibly efficient. They handled our furniture and belongings with real care, communicated clearly throughout the move, and worked hard without cutting corners.

What really stood out was their positive attitude and attention to detail. Nothing was damaged, nothing was rushed, and they went above and beyond to make what’s usually a stressful day feel smooth and well organized.

If you’re looking for a reliable, trustworthy moving company that truly does a great job, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. We would absolutely use them again!

We hired Black Tie Moving for our move in Westhaven, and the experience was beyond disappointing.

During our move, three Restoration Hardware pieces were damaged, including a coffee table that alone costs over $5,000. One of the items—a lamp, was broken and never disclosed to us. We only discovered it later while unpacking, which is unacceptable and dishonest. We just bought this beautiful lamp.

To make matters worse, one of their own employees apologized to us on the second day, stating how sorry he was for the poor job the first-day crew did. That alone speaks volumes.

Despite the significant damage to high-end furniture, Black Tie Moving reimbursed us only $405 total for all three Restoration Hardware pieces combined. This does not even come close to covering the actual loss.

This company showed a lack of care, accountability, and professionalism throughout the process. If you have valuable furniture or expect transparency and quality service, look elsewhere. I will never use Black Tie Moving again, and I strongly advise others to do the same.

We had a great experience with Black Tie Moving from start to finish. From the very beginning, their pricing and crew options were clear and transparent, which made it easy to choose something that fit our budget.

They were very accommodating when we had to adjust our schedule, and ultimately provided a VIP crew with two trucks for our move. The crew was friendly, communicated well throughout the day, and took great care with our belongings and our property.

What really stood out was their efficiency—the final invoice actually came in *less* than the estimate because the crew worked so quickly and professionally.

We would absolutely use Black Tie Moving again and highly recommend them.
