I've used Chipman twice, once for a long distance move and once for a local move in LA County. They are fantastic. I've moved so many times and have had so many bad experiences. With the big companies you never know what you're going to get--it feels like such a gamble. Chipman movers on the other hand are fast, careful, and friendly. I don't know if it is, but it feels like a small company.
I used Chipman Relocation & Logistics to pack and then store my personal household goods in 2022. In 2024 I had them load from my storage and then do an out of state delivery. California to Arizona. They did an excellent job throughout the process. Becky Rowell was exceptionally helpful from the beginning to the final destination. She kept me informed and provided a timely follow-up. This was a difficult move for me being that I was going through a divorce and the change was extremely difficult. Becky coordinated the details of my move and made this life changing experience a much more peaceful transition. I highly recommend the company. The cost was also very reasonable and Becky gave me guidance on best times to move the goods from storage in California to Arizona.
We just used Chipman for the 2nd time for a local move and the experience was fantastic. We had a short turnaround time for a move and I remember working with Bryan during our first move. so I was able to call him, we got a quote and got on the schedule for the following week all in next day. Bryan is very professional, kind and honest. He helps you understand the quote and what makes the most sense. Becky was great to work with in terms of getting the move scheduled and answering any questions about timing, how long to expect and how to make the payment. On the moving day, Darren and his team was fun, respectful and caring. They were really understanding and willing to help out in anyway. Most importantly they took great care in packing and hauling our items to our new house. They really made the long day enjoyable and exciting. I strongly recommend Chipman and working with Bryan, Becky and Darren. Also, they offer the full value protection for coverage on any damages which provides us total peace of mind if anything gets damaged. We will definitely use them again for our next move!
