So much THANKS to Ethan and Evan! These guys were so hardworking, polite and more helpful than I could ever imagine. Nick was also great to work with over the phone, ensuring we were all set to move! They are truly professionals, they went over and above to do everything we requested.
Nick was really nice on the phone. Set up went well. Guys arrived early, all very friendly and professional. They worked hard/efficently and nothing was damaged. I was a bit confused though on why they didn’t take all the items in the house. Seemed like they just forgot a few things? There was a rug in the upstairs room, a couple lamps, some more things of my sons. I told the one guy that asked me what else there was to move, and I’m just guessing he told the foreman we were good to go. I came out to the garage and the truck door was closed and the foreman asked what the new address was. I assumed they had grabbed everything. i kind of expected to do a final walkthrough because there was more stuff I wanted moved. Ended up doing a few trips after with my SUV. Not sure if truck was full? There was also some confusion on which rooms were which and I kind of expected them to move the boxes into the rooms after we clarified. Bit of extra work for us. Regardless, I’d hire them again and I would just be more clear/speak up next time.
Got a quote overnight from Dan's on Yelp. They were immediately accessible by phone and had a very reasonable price, and available when I needed (and kind of short notice at that). Hired them and they showed up on time and with tons of room to spare in the truck. The movers correctly noted all the items to move, were flexible in adding a couple items last minute, and paying was easy peasy. Would hire again, 10/10.
We recently used Dan’s Moving Van for our local move, and I can't say enough good things about our experience. From start to finish, the team was incredibly professional, personable, and efficient.They handled every item with the utmost care, and I was impressed that not a single thing was damaged during the move. Even more impressive—both properties, the one we moved from and the one we moved to, were left spotless, with no dents, dings, or scratches anywhere.The movers tackled some very heavy pieces for us, including power-reclining sofas, tables, beds, and more—even carrying them down a flight of stairs with ease. You could tell they really have moving down to a science! Everything was completed quickly and safely, and the price was very reasonable for the service provided.The team did mention that our preparation made a big difference in the speed of the move—we had all our smaller items packed, sealed in boxes, and staged in one place, ready to be loaded. If you’re planning to move, I highly recommend doing the same, as it keeps things moving smoothly and saves you time.Overall, I will definitely use Dan’s Moving again for any future moves and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient, and careful moving team. Review on 2/19/2024I do a lot of reviews for google. Many know I support local if possible first. Dan’s Moving is local in Green Bay WI. I highly recommend this business.I moved from Green Bay to be more secluded in the country. The job required 3 loaders and unloaders to take my things- load it up- drive about 95 miles and unload the truck. I was given a rate for 9 hours and that is about what it took them.The rate I was quoted included drive time.Planning was made simple over the phone. I was told about how long it would take to load. Then unload. The guys put my things exactly where I asked. They were respectful of my property and professional.Moving is stressful as it is to just pack alone. I wouldn’t have been able to have family help me load a truck I rented- or pack. They are older than me.Even if I could have found help- they were reasonable in price and I could not have done the job cheaper or less costly myself.If I could give them a higher rating I would.Until the next review,Steve-O, out!
