We hired GetMovers for a home move in Guelph involving several heavy pieces of furniture. The movers confirmed the appointment ahead of time and even arrived about 10 minutes early. They were polite, helpful, and took the time to arrange and rearrange the furniture until we were happy with the layout. The price was also very reasonable, and the whole move felt organized and easy.

Five stars only because there isn’t an option for six.We moved to Guelph on short notice with a full household not a light move and GetMovers absolutely showed up for us. I’m military, so we’ve moved 11 times in the last 10 years. I’ve seen every kind of moving company you can imagine. I don’t say this lightly: this was one of the best experiences we’ve had.When we started calling around, most companies didn’t even respond. One did, but warned us the price would jump because of distance. GetMovers called back quickly, asked the right questions, and scheduled us without drama.Because of the timeline, we had them pack and move everything. They sent five packers and had the entire house boxed up in half a day. Not sloppy fast organized fast. Easily the most efficient packing job we’ve experienced,they brought two trucks and six movers. In a single day, they got us out and into the new place. In past relocations, that kind of workload usually takes multiple days. The pace was impressive, but they stayed careful the entire time.The movers were positive, professional, and trustworthy. At one point they found one of our credit cards while packing and immediately returned it. That moment alone told me a lot about their character.The quote held exactly as discussed, even though the move was demanding.They worked like a well-oiled machine. If they’re still around the next time the military sends us somewhere new, I won’t hesitate.

The movers arrived fully prepared with the right equipment, which immediately made the process feel smooth and under control.Communication was excellent. We received a courtesy call before arrival, and once the work began, the movers stayed efficient while handling every item with noticeable care. Larger pieces were disassembled carefully, and everything was properly covered and protected. At the new place, they took the time to ask exactly where things should go instead of just placing items randomly, which made settling in much easier.I also appreciated the professionalism throughout the move. Everyone followed safety precautions, wore masks, and remained respectful of space. The whole experience felt thoughtful and very well managed.

My youngest is in graduate school, and keeping her furniture in our guest room made far more sense than paying ongoing storage fees, especially since the pieces were good quality. We needed a moving company that could handle a longer drive, work within a tight time window, and keep pricing reasonable. GetMovers delivered on all of that. The pricing was fair, straightforward, and exactly as discussed, with no surprise add-ons. The movers arrived on time, wrapped my daughter’s white sofa carefully, and packed all of her larger furniture with care. Everything was carried upstairs into the guest room, and they even placed items exactly where my husband asked so we didn’t have to rearrange anything afterward. They worked hard, stayed professional, and handled every item with respect. The entire process felt smooth and stress-free. I trust them and would use GetMovers again without hesitation. I shared details, a list of items, and photos of our 5-bedroom home by phone and email, and they provided a quote that was very reasonable and clear. The big surprise for me was just how fantastic the movers actually were.
