Sarah took my call and was friendly and gave me an appointment with AJay. I called three companies and two called me back. My Dad is moving in with us and selling condo. AJ came by and quoted us a fair price was honest and straight forwars we setup the date with a deposit. We had seen the Mountaineer trucks many times. Chris A., Shawn W, and Greg M did an amazing job. On time, professional and polite. Communicated effectively as we had multiple locations to move. They took pride in protecting my families memories. Finally at the end of day we were done three hours early. They did not slow down to charge more and we were 100% Satisfied and expectations exceeded. If you don’t use these guys it’s your loss!! Would recommend Mountaineer Movers to anyone.
Our son recommended Mountaineer Movers after his move with them. They were just great. Respectful. Polite. On time. Efficient and fast! Nothing broken or damaged. He was extremely happy, and so were we. They are also very reasonable! The young lady (Sarah) who works in the office, answering the phone, etc., is just the best! Moving is never easy or fun. When you speak to Sarah you cannot hang up without a smile on your face. She comes through the phone like a beam of sunshine. Makes you glad to have hired Mountaineer Movers. She's the cherry on top!
Came outside this morning to have a few puffs and witnessed the alleyway across the street give birth to one of your large trucks. It was epic. I was like theres no way.. this isn't happening, I lived here my whole life and never seen a truck that size get back there ever. City crews cant do it. Psch, no waaaay. Happy helper was in his vest directing the driver, making sure the snow banks weren't disguised bricks, measuring the space driver had to back up and everything, so helpful and communicative. Even gave the driver a 'yea buddy!' for encouragement. I watched in disbelief and almost applaused when they drove off. Standing O boys. Amazing to see people work together and absolutely shocking to see that level of skill in driving with the city covered in this much snow. I didnt hire these guys, but I would if I move.
Awesome and super easy experience. Was getting quoted ridiculous amounts of money to move an upright piano locally. Mountaineer Movers gave me an all in price that was superb in comparison.The movers were awesome and careful.Highly recommend!
They beat their own quote. I got three moving quotes and went with Mountaineer. They gave a range with a top end over the lowest second quote, but a low end below the others. I liked their attention to detail and responsiveness so I went with them. Ultimately, it turned out I had underestimated the amount of stuff I had, but these diligent movers still managed to beat the other quotes. Nice guys, efficient service. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
