PODS OVERSEAS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS INEPT AND INCOMPETENT! If you want the details read on. We were moving out of state, had already purchased our new home, and were waiting to sell our current home. We had to stay in our current home to maintain the property while it was listed for sale so we decided to move all non essentials to the new house. We used Pods for the initial move and planned to get another Pod for the final move. It worked great for our situation but the only problem we had was with the customer service overseas. They are as pleasant as can be but incredibly inept. I had called to change the date of my final pickup because it was scheduled on a Monday (the only day the Internet website allowed me to schedule); we reached Pods customer service overseas and requested the change. The agent told us he put in the request and we would get an email confirmation in approximately 24 hours. 3 days later No response. I called back was connected to customer service overseas, requested to be connected to a US agent and she said it was not possible and they had no US based customer service. A LIE because I spoke to a US agent in the past. I requested to speak to her manager, was put on hold and no one ever picked back up. 30+ minutes. So me and my wife continually called Pods over and over until we reached a US agent. Yolanda was great! She informed us the foreign agent never filled out the form requesting the change of pick up date. She completed it and within 24 hours our pickup up date was changed. Message to PODS: Get rid of your foreign customer service! They are bad for business and waste your customers precious time not to mention creating additional stress at an already stressful time.
PODS was so amazing to work with. They made everything so easy and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They kept in near constant communication, their website was easy to use, and it was everything that we were promised.
Mr Cortney Nelson, you went over and beyond the customer service that I have received in many years. Thank you. It was your day off and you still helped me. I was in a bind for a POD and you made it happen. I appreciate your service to your company and they should give you a BIG raise.
