Bayou Movers did an amazing job for me on both of my moves. The first time, Jaylen, Orlando, and Kenny moved me into my storage unit, and they were so respectful, professional, and careful with all of my furniture that I requested the same crew when it was time to move into my apartment.They wrapped everything securely, handled my belongings with care, and even considered my time whenever they took breaks. Their teamwork, attitude, and respectfulness really stood out and showed how well they represent the company.I’m extremely satisfied with the entire experience and will most definitely be using Bayou Movers again. I recently used Bayou Movers for my local residential move and the entire process exceeded my expectations. My movers, Myron and Princeton, were professional, careful, and respectful of my belongings. They took extra time to wrap and protect all of my furniture, handled each item with care, and stacked my boxes neatly and securely. I truly appreciated the communication—they kept me informed throughout the move and made sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it at the new place. They also disassembled my bed and reassembled it quickly with no issues.The scheduling experience was just as great! OLU provided a clear and fair estimate, explained what to expect, and walked me through every detail. This moving company was an absolute lifesaver! After a terrible experience with another company that left me without movers, Bayou Movers stepped in and fit me in the same day. Olu made the whole process easy and far less stressful.They sent two incredibly respectful, strong, and capable movers—Princeton and Myron—who packed the 26-foot truck with precision and then unloaded everything just as carefully. They arrived in a company truck with a lift, which made loading fast and efficient, and was especially helpful for me as a single woman who didn’t have to worry about renting or driving my own moving truck.They also made sure to place items exactly where I needed them and handled disassembly and reassembly of furniture with no issues. Honestly, the move was so seamless that I would recommend Bayou Movers to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and stress-free moving experience!
We had one of the best moving experiences we could’ve ever asked for with Xavier and DJ! We had 4 stops with about 3 bedrooms worth of furniture in the Houston heat and they handled everything with care and communicated very well.They were very thorough and so kind! I could not recommend another company more. They came in a 26ft truck, so everything fit very easily with no problems. I would definitely ask for them if you can!
I am updating my previous five star review of Xavier and Carlos. While they were patient and friendly with our complicated pack of our rented truck, we arrived at our destination to discover that many items of furniture had not been wrapped properly or packed properly. We are still counting the number of items which were broken, primarily from being not properly padded or wrapped. 50 blankets and furniture pads were provided by us, but only half of them were utilized by Carlos and Xavier.. We had asked for three people, and only two arrived and they were delayed because they said there was no gas in the truck when they arrived at work. It was a complicated pack, and they packed the boxes into the truck well, some of the furniture was padded and wrapped. But some of our most precious items were thrown in haphazardly at the end of the day without any padding, or secure strapping. Wood cabinets and tables were packed against other wood or against the metal floor of the truck, causing them to be damaged beyond repair. The moving company says that they will address this issue, but at this point it's hard to imagine how so much damage can be addressed. We have many broken and damaged furniture items, All of which could have been avoided if Xavier and Carlos had only used the furniture pads which we provided. We liked them, and we trusted them, and we feel betrayed
