Robert and William came to remove a swing set in our backyard. They worked so hard and were very polite. They did a great job removing the set and cleaning up afterwards. This was a tough job and we were so glad that they responded so fast to our removal needs!
I hired College Hunks for a local move. I paid in full and tipped the crew $260 in cash. Unfortunately, my experience was characterized by gross negligence and false documentation.During the move, my most valuable piece of custom artwork, which the movers had remarked about during the move, went missing and was never delivered to my new home.Despite failing to deliver this item, the driver presented me with the final Bill of Lading and had me initial the line explicitly stating “All items have been unloaded." I signed it trusting the professionals had completed the job. When I realized the item was missing, I contacted the driver. He admitted he knew they were "down a painting," yet he had neglected to tell me during the move and still accepted a $260 cash tip.I demanded answers. Building Management told me they reviewed security footage and confirmed all items made it onto the truck. College Hunks management also stated in writing that they "investigated all avenues."Yet, ten days later—the exact day after I filed a formal claim , demanded preservation of evidence, and filed a police report—the painting miraculously "appeared" at the origin loading dock and was handed to me by a janitor. It was College Hunks who encouraged me to file a police report by the way.The owner recently replied to my father's review claiming I found the art "right where [I] left it." So, to borrow a phrase, "let's clarify this for people reading." I hired movers so I wouldn't have to move things myself. I did not l "hire a handyman" like you bizarrely claim. I went to the origin address myself as soon as I knew my painting was missing and checked the loading dock myself. It was nowhere to be found.Blaming the customer for property your crew failed to deliver, after having the customer sign a receipt saying everything was unloaded, and then accusing my father of "slander" for complaining about it is pretty low. FYI: a true statement isn't slander. When I presented management with the fact that I had to recover my own property due to their failure, their proposed resolution was an insulting $100 coupon for a future move.I strongly advise against using this company if you value accurate documentation, honest communication, and the safe delivery of your property.10+ years of customer goodwill down the drain.
Chase and Carl came within the time they promised on a Sunday and helped us remove construction debris- old tile and cabinets. They were friendly and they hustled. I will be calling again when we get to the next stage in our renovations. I would certainly recommend to anyone who needs to get rid of junk fast!
Saul A and Josiah H arrived on time and were very polite when they came. The guys worked with me and removed the items very quickly and were a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use this service and recommend to all friends and family.
Fernando, Malik, Joshua, and Luis were truly exceptional! Words can hardly capture the gratitude my husband and I feel for the incredible service they provided. They approached their work with such dedication and care, always checking in on us to see how we were doing and if we had any questions. It was an overall beautiful experience that made a challenging time so much easier. We will definitely turn to them again in the future and will happily recommend them to others. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! Your kindness and support meant the world to us!
