I hired R&R Moving Company in early June to move from South Cartersville to Atlanta. Initially, the owner, Russell, came to my house to ensure an accurate estimate and pitched the idea of honesty and excellent customer service, which unfortunately turned out to be misleading.During the move, my family and I treated Russell and his crew with respect. We agreed on a specific time, yet they arrived 4 hours early without prior notice, causing us significant inconvenience that we tried to accommodate. We even provided lunch and tipped the crew generously, showing our appreciation.The real issues arose during the installation of my children's bed and dresser with mirrors. The crew carelessly drilled into the mirrors, breaking both. Shockingly, they attempted to leave without informing us of the damage, only acknowledging it when my daughter noticed and brought it to their attention. This lack of transparency speaks volumes about their supposed honesty.Upon contacting Russell to demand repairs, he redirected me to email his company to submit a claim. I promptly sent the claim to the email he had used before to communicate with me, texted him with the same message to the phone number he also used to call me and continued following up with calls, but neither Russell nor his staff bothered to respond. They completely ignored their responsibility and disregarded all my attempts to reach them.In summary, R&R Moving Company failed to deliver on their promises of honesty and excellent customer service. They were careless with our belongings, ignored damage they caused, and showed a complete lack of accountability. I will never hire or recommend this company to anyone. They do not prioritize their clients' needs nor uphold their commitments. Avoid R&R Moving Company to prevent the frustration and disappointment we experienced after they broke our furniture and refused to take responsibility for it.Four weeks later I continue waiting for a reply. Russell and his office have my phone number and email address but they have never shown any intent to contact me to take responsibility for the damage. Very dissapointing.
We hired RNR for our move based off positive past experiences but this time was sadly not even close to that.The guys who moved us first off- didn’t ask to make a second stop instead just shoved everything in the back of the truck and strapped the doors shut… there was no organization to the furniture which I believe in return made the damages happen.The owner said that he would not call the guys and would talk to them when they arrived back at the office. To which he lied. He did call them and gave them time to get their stories to match then we overheard the guys talking about it and not talking nicely about it.When I called to make the claim I was rushed off the phone and tried to say it was my fault. I just bought these couches 4 months prior to moving and they were in perfect condition. Once I got the check… it wasn’t even enough to cover a leather repair man to come out. The couch is Italian leather. It’s not a cheap couch. $186.00 for a hole in my dining table and ripped leather is absolutely absurd.I would recommend to NEVER use these guys.
