"John B" (owner, Allways Moving in Kingston NY) is pleasant to speak with. He set an appointment and promised to do the job. Then the problems began. First, he postponed (by text mssg) on the morning of the move. So, we gave him the benefit of the doubt and set another appointment (again, with John the owner) to move on a different day. That day came and he was a no show. We called and he completely ghosted us. He never called back despite repeated messages and calls. We called his cell. We texted him. We called the office and left messages. Not a single word back from Always Moving or John B.

The Allways team did an excellent job from the very beginning; the estimator was very clear, and the price seemed reasonable. On the day of the move, the team arrived exactly when they said they would, and packed all our stuff efficiently and well; they even marked every box clearly. The next day they arrived again as promised and moved everything to our new place; they were helpful, quick and professional as they put all the boxes, furniture, pictures, rugs and plants exactly where we asked them to. The only casualty of the entire move - and we have quite a few delicate things - was one large ceramic bowl...that we didn't really like ;-)

Between home and business, this is the sixth move they've done for us. We would recommend them without hesitation, and if we ever move again, we'll definitely call them.

I used their service twice for moving from upstate NewYork to Florida and then from NYC to Florida. These guys are amazing fast and efficient. And they didn’t break or damage anything. The job was completed professionally to my satisfaction! They had no problem storing my things for two nights until I was able to greet them at my new home! I highly recommend this company! The crew were great! Professional, polite, respectful and communicative. Price was exactly as quoted. All my items arrived at their final destination safely. No issues with any of their work and I couldn’t be happier! As a single woman handling this move alone, they made me feel very comfortable. The only issue was with the office who should have sent someone out to look at my stuff because I needed a larger truck/different company (I think they max out at 26 feet or so). I had to hire a second truck, last minute from another company after they left. All in all, a wonderful experience and I would definitely hire them again!

They were courteous and responsive, however I had furniture damage that I was never covered even though I told them to include the furniture damage coverage (I bought the second most expensive one). I called Paul Berkert and told him that there was damage to my leather chairs and they split (almost from side to side) the front drawer of an expensive night stand. He first told me that since I moved to VA he didn't know if there was anything he could do because they don't deal with furniture repair companies in VA. Then he gave me his email address and told me to send pictures. He never responded to my emails and when I tried to call back, he did return my calls. Two years later the chairs are almost completely ruined because of the initial scrapes and peels.
