I wanted to schedule a very small move of two items (sofa and loveseat) approximately 1 mi. I contacted several companies for estimates. All wanted to quote hourly rates, travel time, administrative fees and any other junk fee they could think of. Green men was the only company to quote me a flat rate and stuck to it. Pedro and his team arrives on time, wrapped the furniture carefully and delivered it without incident. Very courteous. Would definitely use them again
The moving service was exceptional. impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication. They had a great attitude throughout. All of our furniture was carefully wrapped and arrived in perfect condition, they also assisted us with the disassembly and reassembly. Highly recommended.
I am so glad that I was referred to this company. Pedro, the owner, was punctual, professional, and returned all calls. They wrapped all the furniture exceptionally well. With all the horror stories you hear about movers, this company was the complete opposite.
Disappointing Experience – Would Not RecommendI hired this company last month to move a one-bedroom apartment just two blocks away. The move started at 9:45 AM and, surprisingly, didn’t finish until 6:30 PM. It took the movers until 3 PM just to load the truck, which felt excessively long, especially given the size of the move.While the broken freight elevator in the building did cause some delays due to the extra distance we had to walk, much of the lost time was due to how inefficiently the truck was packed. It seemed the movers lacked the spatial awareness or “puzzle skills” needed to pack things in a smart, time-saving way. This ultimately caused me to miss my scheduled loading dock reservation at the new building, which created issues/argument with another resident moving in and put me in a very uncomfortable and embarrassing situation with building management.To clarify, I didn’t have any boxes—just 20 stackable crates on wheels, plus one bedroom and one living room’s worth of furniture, and a few small miscellaneous items. This should not have taken so long.One of my key requests when booking this company was that all of my furniture—especially my white, light-colored fabric items, including a white leather bed—be wrapped properly for protection. This was the main reason I chose them. Unfortunately, not a single item was wrapped. Everything got dirty. I contacted the person I booked with (not sure if she is the owner), sent photos, and raised my concerns—but my messages went completely unacknowledged. The only time I heard from her again was when it was time to pay.I found the customer service extremely disappointing. My concerns were ignored and brushed aside with a cloyingly cheerful attitude that seemed more like a way to deflect than to actually take responsibility. While the movers were generally friendly, they also disregarded my repeated requests to wrap my bed and placed items directly on the ground—again, I have photos to prove it.I did tip the movers because of the added walking distance caused by the elevator issue, but in hindsight, I honestly should have received a discount for the poor handling of the move overall.Would not recommend based on my experience.- update: notice how nothing I said as the customer was addressed in their response only a personal attack and more deflection - say it all right there! LOL.
Moving was so easy and stress free with Pedro and his team. I have a lot of glass and mirrored furniture but they took the time to protect everything, so I really appreciate the care and attention with my things during the move. I will be using them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers. I will also be using them soon for upholstery cleaning since I liked them so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so kind and professional!
