The team of Casey, Alex, and Ermias were fantastic! They helped to move my mother in to my duplex style home into the lower level. Lots of stairs, twists and turns and they approached everything with no complaint. They checked in with us throughout the day, made sure things were properly in place and offered to move anything that wasn't again. They even trudged through the snow to bring things into the garden shed. Thanks, guys!
The actual movers were absolutely amazing guys! My original booking was for 10am. I was at my storage unit at 9:50 am. I waited and waited. At 10:20 I called the office and I was informed there was a time change in booking. It was changed to 12 noon. I was no made aware of this. Due to the change I had to call my apartment to make them aware of the time change re service elevator and availability. I was told the guys would be there within 1 hr. An hour and 15 mins later they arrived. Not very impressed. The office apopogize, but nothing else. I think a decent company would have given me a discount. But because I didn't cause a scene or follow through with it. I didn't get it. So it's partially on me. But that's the way the world is these days. Pretty sad.I called them back as they stated in their answer to my review. Said that the 5* ratings are very important to the owner. They wanted me to either delete the review or change it so it's positive. He said what normally happens is they would reimbursement me some of the moving cost for doing so. The guy asked me if I had an amount in mind. I gave him a number. Said he could not approve that, but he will be talking to the owner and let him know. Said he would call back in the day or 2. That was April 8th. Haven't received a call. I'm done with this company! Will never recommend it. I'm sure the owner doesn't care, bc he has his 4.8/5 *'s. Got to love the way you get treated after spending over $700.00. They got what they wanted, their money!
Ermias, Matt and Casey moved us back into our home last week after a lengthy renovation and we could not have asked for better service. Not only did they do a great job, these guys were friendly, professional and ultra polite. Well done, True North! We wish you continued success!
I used a professional mover for the first time in my 84 years. I wished I had done it sooner. The three-man crew did an excellent job in moving me to my new retirement appartment.All breakable items were wrapped and protected. They arrived on time and the job was completed in a reasonable time. They even put my bed together better than it was before.The crew were friendly and very engaging.I would definitely recommend True North Movers.
