College Hunks Knoxville once again delivered superior service! We have relied on College Hunks to safely, carefully and rapidly move our household belongings through 9 moves! The local owner Will Akers is the absolute BEST! He expertly hires and trains well qualified movers with amazing attention to detail. He also is extremely accommodating for move requests on short timing. We booked his team for two jobs this week. The first job required his team to move a 1 bedroom apartment into a 6 x 12 Uhaul trailer. We gave him 1 day notice and he was able to help us! The team was magic in its ability to carefully and successfully pack so many items in such a small space. The second job was smaller for junk removal of a very, very heavy iron stove. Once again his team was able to carefully remove this item without damaging anything in the process. Seriously, do not bother calling any other moving service. We can recommend Will and the team at College Hunks to deliver outstanding service on any job you throw at them. They are conscientious, professional and a pleasure to work with.

I’m so glad I did! They got me scheduled and confirmed within minutes, showed up right on time, and handled everything perfectly from start to finish. The three guys who came out were absolute pros—kind, efficient, and made sure every detail was taken care of before they left. I honestly didn’t expect moving help to be such a wonderful experience, but they completely exceeded my expectations. I’ll be recommending them to everyone I know! A++ and all the gold stars! ??
We used the service before and the guys did a great job. This time it was a blithering nightmare. I would NEVER use the service again. They took 9 hrs to move us from one home to another only 2 miles away. I specifically told them my husband was waiting for them to let them in, but told them to call ME with questions on what to move as he is hearing impaired. They never called me and moved items I did NOT want moved. Items we were donating. We had to move a number of items BACK to our home we are leaving so the items could be picked up as scheduled from our old house. Then after 9 hrs of work- they left things any and everywhere, not putting the furniture in the rooms where they should have been placed. Nothing like the 1st crew. This group didn’t even leave room for me to start moving things where they belonged. It was HORRIBLE ! I was told that they decided to work with my husband rather than calling me because “they really don’t like having to call customers on the job”. So- talking to a hearing impaired individual was apparently better. I’m left with a broken recliner and some scratched up pieces, and lots of stuff to move back! I will say they were PROMPT with billing me, so I guess that billing services were good? I would NOT recommend this to anyone unless you want to babysit 2 grown men that do not want to communicate what they are doing and can’t take direction unless you are face to face with them. Also- despite them saying they were well versed with Sleep Number bed moves, they had no idea how to set up my bed. They left it deflated, lost a hose (despite having billed for bed bags to keep the bed clean), and had no idea that the newer models do not have remotes to emerge-inflate them). They did finally locate the hose that was missing, but just not as skilled as they led me to believe when it comes to Sleep Number beds.
